No matter what you think this would never be a slam dunk case in court. Labour did publish the data in public this is a fact.
Also surely the Labour Party has some supporters that are good lawyers and will work pro bono
Yeah I'm glad they will be taking further action as usually political parties just whine when the police don't refer. Things will be tested in Court. Don't see them getting anywhere though.
If they were too busy in the 2011 campaign they had adequate time in 2012,2013 to lay complaint while not being busy by an election campaign. And then ironically laid the complaint in the proceeding campaign period when you think they would be equally too ...
Hi Anne I completely agree with your post but don't think the Labour Party has any of those situations apply to them or any other ones that might be completely valid reasons for delaying complaints or not making a complaint. I'm sorry for your experience
So was the when Labour laid the complaint? surely 2012 would have been a not busy time. Plus there was enough for a complaint the first instance.
The extent of what he had done was surely known when Whale Oil published the data and how he got it. That was surely enough info for a complaint. No, in some crimes and circumstances it is very understandable but in this circumstance its seems odd as it ...
One question is considering this happened in 2011 and Whale Oil published the data. Why was the complaint only laid last year by the Labour Party? It appears they are casual with there member information and casual complaining to the police. I would never ...
There is a difference between not suppose to be in public view and were in public view.
Why can't someone pursue a private prosecution ah la John Banks if you think it should be a case. Isn't this an option?
You could argue that everyone in the public was authorised to have access as the info was published by the party on a public accessible website.
It shows who supports and therefore has influence in the party.
It's working for me great. Only the dumb or unlucky end up on the rich list. You definately want to stay off that list or else you can't get anything past the IRD.
Between Craig and Cameron I don't trust one more than the other but I do think the media advisor who is still gagged seems the most legit, yet she is still gagged despite Craig saying he would release her from the confidentially agreement.
The amounts claimed Colin Craig are seeking for defamation seem ludicrous even if he wins the cases. Am I wrong? How has this much damage been done to Colin ( I mean in the finacial sense) political he's screwed but it debatable if he would hae ever made ...
Perhaps I'm wrong but if what Whale Oil has published is true then isn't he safe?
Does Christchurch still exist? I though we got that earthquake to take care of it.
We are a sovereign country we can past any laws we want. If they don't like it fine no more treaty but that a decision we make. Equally the same reason I don't know why everyone is SO paranoid about the TPP. If it's as shit as it seem then BYE!
Japan has 120 million in a similar geographic area, It's not really much of a problem granted we have new immigrants contribute to network/infrastructure growth.
So we reset the market and then start again. Those greedy people who chased speculating profits foreign or not I don't really care about.
A land tax is a brilliant idea. Even if just brought in on commercial property it would rake in heaps. Not that it should stop there. It should come in over all residential property as well as commercial property.
I agree have seen her a number of times talking in public and she isn't quick on her feet when going off script. She is like a rugby player in an after match interview.
I doubt this poll will have shown the really effect of Labours declarations on foreign house buyers. Will be interesting to see in future polls.
Who won't answer?
It's easy. Build more either through Kiwibuild or/and the private sector but both of these options need Auckland Council to be proactive is rezoning a lot more land for either greenfield or more intensive building, as well as streamline consent processing ...
No I mean hiring property professionals who routinely compile and sell information on sales/leasing anything you pay them for. Alternately have volunteers do this through property transactions. Addresses that have sold are public. It would be more than ...
Did you stop and think about what I wrote or do you need me to walk you through the data to explain my point, cause I can if you like?
Labour could easily have commission research firms/valuation companies to have gain this data or better data. This data is collectible in the same way all political parties do polling.
Unfortunately B&T do better off more through transactions than higher prices. They would actually prefer more stock to sell (new house/apartments) at the previously lower average price rather than this restricted but high priced market. So your logic fails...
Is it really heroic to take something that's not yours when it can be got by other mean that are legitimate? If so I'm living in the wrong society. Not only that if Labour had conducted/commissioned their own research the data would have been much more ...
Barfoot and Thomson is by far the biggest agency in Auckland. The size of the information taken would be unlikely/impossible generated by any other real estate agency. Therefore they became suspicious and undertook their investigation. Seems to be their ...
