As a teacher, we know that one size doesn't fit all. That is why devices in classes are brilliant. Students can learn at their own rate. As far as the curriculum itself goes, that comes from the Ministry. Previously with much consultation. Now, not so much...
I went onto the Auckland Ratepayers Alliance Facebook page. Made some mildly anti remarks, and got some ferocious type replies. Very WO.
They should be relentless in their targeting of crap government policy. The words to repeat are government and incompetent.
With the amount of stuff ups the government is making at the moment, how come the only Labour spokespeople I see on the news are Little and Twyford, and occasionally Robertson. Where is Goff on Auckland? Sepuloni on Social Bonds? Hipkins on Education? They...
From my limited understanding of third term politics, governments tend to lose the next election, rather than opposition winning them. We are not lacking policy to woo the electorate. What we are NOT doing is focusing hard on government incompetence. There...
Yet we welcome you here,Wayne.
Thanks Clem, very well put. In total agreement.
How dare you impugn a good Tottenham boy.
You made me click there. That was mean!
Can't stop posters having an opinion. But ISTM that they are railing at the wrong people. The Labour Party has never been truly socialist. Even the original state housed were built by Fletchers. The party is much more a social democratic party, and as such...
Says someone who can't structure a sentence, let alone a paragraph.
Been going on for some time. I remember doing an essay at uni in '73 based around the CIA in cahoots with ITT, getting rid of Allende in Chile cos he nationalised the phone network.
Protecting their own?
3 tier, IMHO, politicians with name suppression, rugby players, the rest of us.
Now this too is scary. http://teu.ac.nz/2015/05/secret-trade-deal/ Do we really want our education system totally screwed over for the sake of ideology?
Weka, I suspect that Key understands power dynamics perfectly. But only from the position of being the one with the power.
Wonder how much they donate to the National Party?
I suspect they knew exactly what they were doing. Running the party line.
From a poster on Kiwiblog Earlier today Cameron Slater commented – "Sensible journalists looking for a good story should ask senior Nats why they are never seen wearing a white ribbon, and the Prime Minister should be asked why, when he wears a white ...
How to comfort a grammar nazi? They're, there, their.
Used to be an girl group many years ago. Unsurprisingly their singles never got much air play!
Would Ron Mark's nose be out of joint if Jones was parachuted in in 2017? What about Tracy Martin? Mummy might not like it either.
The other take away, is that there are votes out there in the regions.
One of the many things I took out of the by-election is that Labour now has a leader who is prepared to make accommodations with other parties. Let's hope the same thing happens in Ohariu in 2017. There are probably other seats as well.
Thanks.
What's with all the pop up ads. They're everywhere and a fucking nuisance.
Yes we need a new flag. No we don't need to waste money on a referendum. If Key is so hot on a new one, just do a Lester Pearson and introduce one.
i'm beginning to agree with Chris Trotter more and more. Is this a good thing? http://bowalleyroad.blogspot.co.nz/2015/03/sorry-winston-why-labour-needs-to-stand.html
Read Patricia Grace's story, Butterflies.
Great insight from Danyl M over at the Dim-Post. "Hooton ascribes part of Key’s popularity to his preeminence as a commentator on light-entertainment shows across New Zealand media. More FM, Breakfast TV, Seven-Sharp, etc. Critically these are (a) news ...
Life for the right is sure going to be tough after 2017.
