While researching a recent post I happened to type in to Google a query beginning with “New Zealand is”. The Google auto-complete suggestions were not flattering:

new-zealand-is

Ouch!

Anyone want to try other countries?

    Responses for America include:
America is… Collapsing, Evil, Corrupt, Doomed, Dying…

    But my personal favourite:

America is… …running out of Subarus!

  2. Tigger 2

My ‘Australia is’ search spat out:
    is racist
    is a continent
    is boring
    is a racist country

    I’d have to agree.

We’ve caught up and will soon be winning on 1 and 4. The difference is Aussies know their racist and many are fighting it. We’re busy pretending it doesn’t exist.

  3. Jenny 3

New Zealand is the best placed country in the world to be a world leader in fighting climate change.

  4. Pasupial 4

    Aotearoa is:

    Not for Sale.

    ….. really only 68% PURE
….. being sold to the highest Corporate bidder and/or Celeb
….. soon to be re-categorised in it’s world status
    ….. careerist politicians
    ….. becoming more racist,
    ….. ….. less egalitarian
….. ….. home to the bigot, the lazy journalist, the Corporate wonderboy, the new class structure (awe wait! better call that neo-stratifikayshun)
….. the most desirable place to hold the next social experiment (even though the current ‘leaders’ aren’t even aware of such an agenda, given their self-interest)
    …. etc.

  7. Bill 7

Maybe ‘Aotearoa is…’ will perk you up Anthony 😉
