The New Zealand labour movement used to have its own newspaper. A group of us thought that now might be a good time for it to be digitally reborn: The Standard v2.0 - now in a new format The Standard v3.0

Given that the US is more closely aligned (at least internally) to a free market idealism that purports to deliver a certain equilibrium than almost anywhere else.....well, sick fucks are US

John Key is a guest commentator at the cricket today, and just made a comment about how "sport transgresses national boundaries". I'm hiding far far away from the television.

TF:
This is worth watching. Data should be reviewed it has spread worldwide. Even the NZ data is suspect.

http://business.scoop.co.nz/2009/12/04/smellie-sniffs-the-breeze-the-trouble-with-lists/
Those wrenching changes account for the fact that New Zealand's farmers are among the most productive in the world, that unemployment is lower here than just about anywhere in the OECD, and set the stage for improvements in the government accounts which, in the early 2000's, allowed Michael Cullen, Douglas's nemesis in the Lange Cabinet, to go on a spending spree.

There is no honesty amongst theives. Farmers became productive
by working collectively! So what 'new' policies help collective businesses?
What policy did Douglas 'help' farmers become better farmers? Stuffing
the whole economy so that only the best shine (and are routinely hit by
currency speculator running off with their profits!)?

Fonterra needs to trade on the basis of its value as a company, not on the value of a litre of milk. If Zespri is such a great idea, let it trade in a competitive environment like everyone else does.

So let's just understand this, our economy has shruck to one or two
major players that have to max out at being cutting edge to survive
- yet are raided by the lazy nontrade economy,
our emplyment is so low because our population has to fly away to
get jobs. Isn't this a bit like say your great at sex because you had
it once and all your other girlfriends have moved overseas to get
away from your bad breath!

The so called economic elites in NZ are toxic breathers.
