As part of the Labour Leadership Election there is to be a ‘virtual hustings’ – an online forum for Q&A organised by Labour. Scoop have agreed to facilitate, and are now harvesting the questions. Only those who are eligible to vote in the leadership election (Labour members/union delegates) will have their questions answered, and questions must be in by September 10.
As announced on Red Alert, from 10-13 September selected questions will be answered in a series of blog posts on Red Alert. Given that not everyone will be able to get to the 12 hustings meetings around the country, this is a good way of letting others be involved.
A reminder to candidates – if you want to get a message out to the many voting Standardistas, we’d love to have a Guest Post from each of you, like at the last leadership election. We’d also love you to get involved in the ensuing discussion!
