Press conference is running late, but Judith Collin’s statement is out – resigning as Minister, but not as MP.

New allegations of her undermining SFO head Adam Feeley have finally been too much.

Not too much apparently was:

  • Oravida conflict of interest
  • Oravida lies and coverup
  • slander against journo Katie Bradford
  • Bronwyn Pullar leak affair
  • enabling cyber-bullying (and death threats) of a civil servant by providing details
  • relationship with Slater working on #dirtypolitics

etc..

Update: John Key says this matter is much more serious than any of the above…  so pretty serious then!

Update 2: email below

Fark that email is disastrous for Collins. How appropriate that her career should be crushed by Cameron Slater …

      • mickysavage 1.1.1

And the email was given anonymously to Key’s office. National civil war anyone?

There’s been plenty of ranging fire and covert action but yes, I do believe this is the first fire for effect insiders have undertaken.

I’m figuring @whaledump has been working with the journos now.

Also does Judith Collins count as a GOTCHA! for Cam?

          Hooton as the leaker?

          • Tracey 1.1.1.4.1

If whaledump didnt leak this, it points to someone in the email loop… Hooton is an ACT man.

            • Ant 1.1.1.4.1.1

Or a journo leaking it to Key first as a heads up?

Key can then front foot it.

              • Clemgeopin

‘How about ‘anonymous’ shows it to Key, Key leaks it to Key’s office, key’s office leaks it to anonymous, anonymous leaks it back to Key’s office, Key’s office SHOW it to Key, Huh? olala!’…. Maxwell “Max” Smart, Agent #99.

            • Tom Jackson 1.1.1.4.1.2

He’s also been distancing himself from Key and Collins in the last couple of weeks. My guess is that he knows some of what’s coming.

If Kim Dotcom really does have something on Key, he’s finished.

      • Puddleglum 1.1.2

The email is disastrous for many people.

Various journalists compliantly running Slater’s lines (and Odgers’); Odgers involved in trying to undermine the head of the SFO (why on earth? She’s a lawyer, isn’t she?); Hooton apparently being asked to set up an ipredict market on Feeley lasting (who knows what Matthew may have known about the background, but not a good look to be mentioned), etc..

This is much more fulsome evidence of the kind of extensive network of ‘dirty politics’ that has been operating over the past six years than almost anything in the book. All in one email.

At best, this reveals Key is an awful judge of character as Prime Minister and has not been keeping a close eye on Ministerial activities given one of his chosen and most senior Ministers has been continuously donkey deep in this kind of politics for years.

        • Rob 1.1.2.1

Yes the most interesting bits in the email are the names etc of all the others in the loop
The Herald seem to be really stuck in this pigshit along with their very close friends.

        • swordfish 1.1.2.2

Yep. “I am maintaining daily communications with Jared Savage at the Herald and he is passing information directly to me that the Herald can’t run…additional information will be drip fed into the media…Cathy can outline her contact with Fran O’Sullivan separately…Basically though the Herald and other media are picking up our lines……Cathy will be talking with Jock Anderson and I will cover Matt Nippert…”

        • Chris 1.1.2.3

Interesting Odgers cleared everything from her blog around the time of Hager’s book.

        • Tracey 1.1.2.4

jared savage feeding slater stuff he, jared, cant print? Sackable offence surely? Breach of journalistic standards? Fran beung fed stuff by Odgers, at best poor judgment.

          • Inky 1.1.2.4.1

Tracey: Was Savage doing this off his own bat or was he given the OK from higher up, that’s the question? Can anyone understand why the newspaper would do that? All I can think of is that perhaps it was just to scratch Slater’s back so that the favour might be returned later with a big news tip-off.

Bear in mind, newspapers often discover loads of seriously damaging info on people that they can’t print because they can’t prove it and would risk having their backsides sued off.

So presumably they were giving Slater some pretty heavy, but unsubstantiated, stuff. That’s not ethical, spreading unsubstantiated info to muck-rakers like Slater. That’s not how real journalists or real newspapers should behave. What else have they given Slater? This could have damaging ramifications — and not just for Savage himself.

I know the paper’s commentators get a lot of stick from the left for their alleged right-wing bias, but this is an even worse look for them. It will be disappointing if the decision to help Slater was made higher up the food chain than Savage.

      • Not a PS Staffer 1.1.3

John Key asked for the email to be found.
Winstons Peter’s coup allegation meant Key had to act despite the risks of Collins turning on him.

Key knew, at an arm’s length of course, exactly what Collins was doing.

He asked Wany Eagleson to get a piece of evidence that he could use as an excuse to kill off Collins.

There is nothing innocent about the letter arriving “anonymously” on Waynes Eagleson’s desk.
Key asked for a knife, Eagleson sourced it, Key stabbed Collins.

    Headlines we’re unlikely to see:

        • yeshe 4.2.1.1

He has never been reported as coming out Tracey! and that was the day after the book
published. I reckon if they can pay 17 MPs $300K each to quit, imagine what Ede’s recompense might be.

  5. Kiwiri 6

how long has tricKey or the PM’s Office been sitting on this so-called anonymous email?

    • aerobubble 6.1

Timing. Saturday midday release, when most people were out enjoying their weekends, and Slater was back in the country, and the more favorable Q&A with Hooten was scheduled after The Nation had gone to air.

  6. disturbed 7

Key looks like Nixon did in his final days when press swamped him after the evidence came out that he had lied and was involved in the Watergate break-in.

I watched the daily grilling through two years while there, and he always looked up beat until getting caught.

Key looks like being the next cab off the rank, as he has the worry of what next is going to turn up next, besides him looking shaken & very shabby.

  7. All in that email must be punished.

  8. BM 9

Expect National and Key to rise in the polls.

    • North 9.4

      Expect BM to defecate inwards.

    • Inky 9.5

BM: I bet you think Key won the first debate, too, don’t you? It’s priceless how when the Nats take a hit, people like you immediately send out a positive message. I guess that before the internet all you could do was punch a wall. Go on, keep amusing us. I love the smell of fuming Nats in the morning.

    • Clemgeopin 9.6

I think you are wrong. If anything, more dirty trick revelations will surface, there will be more internal chaos and daggers drawn, more ‘cover ups’….but it is always the cover ups that gets them.

I have a feeling that Key knows much more about the Collin emails and other whaledump stuff now from ‘confessions’ from back side saving crooks and anonymous leaks trying to damage one another within the various camps in the National caucus and party! Next two weeks will be interesting!

  9. quartz 10

This also implicates Fran O’Sullivan, Jarod Savage, and Hooton (again). We need an inquiry into the behaviour of the media.

    • Blue 10.1

Yep, that pretty much confirms that the whole Donghua Liu beatup bullshit was Slater acting through Savage. Savage is a tool of Whaleoil and he needs to resign. Pretty sure Tim ‘what’s an affidavit?’ Murphy wouldn’t fire him.

    • Bob 10.2

This on the week that Hooton has been bagging Key’s leadership on radio, O’Sullivan calling a big win to Cunliffe in the debate, the Herald still pushing the ‘Dirty Politics’ lines and Collins outed as planning a coup, this email being being made public hits a lot of people Key doesn’t like at the moment in one hit, all a bit too convenient but it will help Key on the run in to the election

    • Paul 10.3

How many last chances will 9 to Noon give Hooton?

  10. Tracey 11

I note she says she is resigning to focus on clearing her name. Does that mean she thinks its ok to draw an MP salary and spend her time clearing her name.

Key has called her resignation honourable. The last word to describe his or her behaviour is honourable. The right use a completely different dictionary and compass to the rest of the world.

  11. sabine 12

can’t wait for the awesome Mea Culpa opinion piece by various NZ Herald writers and opinionators. So much fun for everyone.

I had a few younglings of #TeamKey in my coffee shop today, wonder how they must be feeling 🙂

    • Tracey 12.1

dont hold your breath. They will praise key for strong leadership… Even though she resigned, not sacked.

  12. lprent 13

Damn after her outburst about this being “The Labour Party website” the other day, I have been writing a post in my head to demonstrate why we don’t bother to perform any “cyber-bullying”. Just expressing what we actually think is bad enough and the NZLP has nothing to do with it (many there would like us gone).

But like all newbies to the art of expressing herself in the electronic domain she has predictably fallen over her own hubris way too early.

But this isn’t a surprise after reading her tweets for a while. Another unthinking idiot who spends more time looking at the power of the medium rather than its constraints and risks.

She should have started developing her skills 35 years ago rather than in the last 7 or 8 years.

  13. Jeremy Goldberg. 14

Its fine being abully like Collins till you get careless stupid person from a stupid Govt that is going to get the shit kicked out of them lol .

  14. sabine 15

Question: Will Mrs. Crusher stay on as a List MP (if she were to win her electorate) and could she weasel her way back into government if National were to win.

As for winning, i am not of betting kind, and while i hope that Team Key and his Goons will disappear for a few years, i am not holding my breath. Sadly there is a large part of the NZ Population that have no issue voting/rooting for the bully, it makes them feel stronger I guess.

Pair sentenced for theft and false statements
Gregory Alan Arnott (51) and Mark James Whelan (41) have been sentenced in the Auckland District Court today following charges laid by the Serious Fraud Office (SFO).

Mr Arnott entered guilty pleas in June to offences under the Crimes Act, comprising five charges of theft by person in a special relationship and five charges of making a false statement. He was sentenced today to six years’ imprisonment.

At trial in July, Mr Whelan faced 10 Crimes Act charges comprising three of theft by person in a special relationship and seven of making a false statement. He pleaded guilty after giving evidence at his trial and was sentenced today to two years’ imprisonment. His sentence is to be served cumulatively with a prior sentence of four years and four months’ imprisonment which Mr Whelan received in May 2013. This earlier sentence was in relation to fraudulently obtaining loans totalling $4.9 million in a previous SFO prosecution.

The SFO’s charges against the pair related to their involvement with Derivatek New Zealand Limited (Derivatek) and Global Futures Trading Limited (Global Futures).

  17. BM 18

I do wonder if this email was just Cameron Slater trying to big note it.

Probably find Collins had no idea about what Slater was up to.

    • North 18.1

      That’s right BM. A la Nought-To-Do-With-Me-GodKey.

      That’s the spirit, BM !!!

    • One Anonymous Bloke 18.4

BM’s conjecture cannot be ruled out: Slater has a history of economy with the truth. “I don’t think I’ve ever received an email from a Jason Ede detailing Official Information Act requests.” h/t #whaledump

That being just one example. I understand Lprent has a list 😉

Will the coming investigation reveal the redacted recipient’s name?

Will Slater, who must know who it is?

BM, I almost feel sorry for you. Judith’s fate is most likely in #whaledump’s hands now. If there’s any material in her discussions with Slater to support Slater’s loose-lipped allegations she’ll be in the dock.

    • Tracey 18.5

by big note you mean lie and misrepresent? Of course that is possible he does both on his blog all the time. You dont put any stock on anything written on that site do you, BM?

Given how vindictive and short sighted she has shown herself to be, we may yet see Collin’s do something really fucking stupid in response 😈

    • vto 20.1

Yep. That should go up on ipredict – come in Matthew Hooton….

      • yeshe 20.1.1

if nothing else, ipredict shd be taken down .. they were so easily manipulated by Slater and Ede according to Nicky Hager, and now we have Hootton’s name again in this email. Off you go Matthew.

        • Lanthanide 20.1.1.1

Prediction markets are deliberately open to manipulation and insider trading, the theory being that every piece of information will result in a more accurate prediction.

If someone bids up a prediction to levels that are unrealistic, it becomes an ‘easy win’ opportunity for others to correct it back down to the realistic level.

Doesn’t quite work for iPredict given the small size of the market, though.

          • Pete 20.1.1.1.1

That’s true, but opening new contracts lends a sense of legitimacy to a narrative even before that particular contact had been gamed.

  20. Kiwiri 21

What else is in your top drawer, John Key?

Show us the dirt in your top drawer!

    • yeshe 21.1

I know this references something Key said as a sly aside in the House one day .. do you have a reference or url to use for it ? Thx It was so filthy when he said .. might be worth digging it up again in the new sunlight. Be good to hear a journalist ask him what he meant.

  21. Jono 22

Just a couple if quick thoughts on all this.

Regardless of her own extensive involvement, I suspect that Judith’s resignation is also about taking the heat over everyone else’s involvement. Once she is gone, Key and the National Party’s enablers in the MSM can draw a line under Dirty Politics and then go back to business as usual. Collins will take the hit on behalf of the establishment and will be well looked after. Consider them inoculated.

Also, leaving aside he had been caught at it, having read all the whaledump conversations to date, Cam Slater really does have a fine mind for all of this. I have seen him defend his online obnoxious bloviating self as something of a caricature as adopted by many who venture opinions online, but he is a very very smart player and I wonder if at least some of his media mates only realize now how easily they have been played.

    • yeshe 22.1

this is not inoculated, no way. only in their dreams.

    • Tracey 22.2

Funny how there is no evidential basis for the statements by slater that he spoke to collins than any of the stuff in hagers book BUT today Key is calling it FACT

    • Flipnz 22.3

“Once she is gone, Key and the National Party’s enablers in the MSM can draw a line under Dirty Politics and then go back to business as usual.”

If the MSM have any independence left the drawing of the line will be to highlight and investigate not to rule off.

During an election it will be hard to rule off.

  22. Sable 23

Good job. Lets get rid of the rest of them on election day…

  23. vto 24

Good riddance to Collins – what an ugly person.

But this seems to indicate some deep-seated worries in the National Party. They are worried, and for good reason, that they will not be returned post-Sept 20. This shenanagins is the Nat people shaping up for the next years in the wilderness.

They are fighting already because they see the election is lost.

    Lost man lost.

    • Rob 24.1

Yes that internal polling must be causing a worry for them.

    • Tracey 24.2

Imo, dont get too excited. Someone in the nats saw the distraction going on and on, and so gave key something to act on, to get the strategy back on track. Gap betw big and poor is way higher in peoples mind than the economy, THAT is a much bigger problem for Nats. With collins gone they can return to lying about the economy and lying about the damage labour greens will do.

      • Karen 24.2.1

        +1 Tracey
This didn’t come from Whaledump, so where did it come from?

I think Nat polling was showing Collins was becoming a liability, and David Collins was on the up. I suspect that this email came from Jason Ede or Matthew Hooten and was released as a way of making Key look decisive (needed something new against Collins without giving any credit to Hager or Peters) as well as restricting coverage of Cunliffe talking policy.

I know that Hooten is mentioned in the email, but there is no evidence that he actually did game ipredict. Seems a way he can deny knowing anything about it. More likely Ede though.

        • Karen 24.2.1.1

          OOPs I meant David Cunliffe.
There’s now a suggestion that the source is Rawshark who gave it to Fairfax. Evidently Sunday Star Times was doing a story – someone on the paper must have leaked it to PM’s Chief of Staff,

        • Ant 24.2.1.2

Stuff were saying that the SST is running a story on this tomorrow based on a package of emails whaledump has supplied.

If this turns out to be part of that package, it’s entirely possible that someone spiked the story.

Farrar already running the ‘poor Judith, she was brave and hardworking’ line. How he writes this stuff without throwing up into his keyboard is beyond me.

    • swordfish 26.1

I believe he does occasionally throw up in his mouth a little, immediately after posting. Now and then a bit of dry-retching, slight feelings of nausea. “David, David, this is the voice of your conscience speaking.”

    • Tracey 26.2

Speaking of vomitting. Remember this? It was only about two weeks ago

“As well as joining OMSA, Mr Farrar plans to enforce tougher moderation on comments left by his readers, publicly say when he thinks friends of his – like Slater – are wrong, and reveal his sources more often.

“I have people email me lots of stuff, and I often will run it on Kiwiblog not as my own – I’ll always quote saying someone sent this in to me – but I am going to be a bit more transparent,” he says.

“If it comes from a Parliamentary or a political party source, I am actually going to say that.”

He won’t name the person directly, unless they want to be, but says this is a higher standard that many mainstream media organisations follow.

Mr Farrar says the full impact of Dirty Politics likely hasn’t been fully felt yet and expects more documents to be leaked online via the @whaledump Twitter account.

“There’s a lot of other people who have dealt with [Slater] who are quite concerned that their emails are floating around too, so certainly we’re going to see, I think, these drip-fed every day up until the election.

“I think the people they’re about are going to be quite a wide variety of New Zealanders.”

The book has been labelled a “left-wing smear campaign” by the Prime Minister, but Mr Farrar – while disputing some of the Mr Hager’s claims – says it has been a “good catalyst” to improving “standards in the blogosphere.

  26. vto 27

So where was Adam Feeley when it comes to South Canterbury Finance?

Did I hear that some of this dated back to 2009?

South Canterbury Finance and its entry to the Crown Deposit Guarantee Scheme anyone?

Who else benefited from not looking into this? Who would look into it?

Recall the closing submissions on the SCF trial a couple of weeks ago? It was all about the lack of investigation by the SFO into the Guarantee entry…….. NZ’s biggest ever fraud by a Southland country mile …. eh Bill English?

  27. gobsmacked 28

Collins blames a “smear campaign” (in her resignation statement, just now on TV One).

I agree. We must hunt down the person who did this to her. Start by asking John Key’s chief of staff who leaked the e-mail to him. No leak = no resignation. So who knifed her?

If he won’t tell us, then John Key = Nicky Hager. Get given other people’s e-mails, and use them, while protecting the source.

    Irony, and then some.

  28. consequences 29

He had a GREAT relationship with Tucker, tucker still lies for him.

Feeley was head of SFO, not chief executive of justice ministry

My money’s on Pinko, but Slater knows one way or t’other. Utu is good, even necessary.

            • yeshe 32.1.1.1.1.1

but why would one name be redacted ? I’m betting the supplier didn’t do it, but Key’s office did.

              Jason Ede ??
              Lusk ??

I think Key would have kept Lusk in there. Jason Ede, not so much. I’m thinking it’s Ede and the reason he is redacted is because Key has a need to continue to protect him.

and Carrick Graham in there .. isn’t this from when his father was under SFO investigation for Lombard ?

(And any votes here for Mark Textor being the main recipient or is that a stretch too far ?)

              • yeshe

Three names Mark mentioned in Dirty Politics as communicating with Slater:

                Mitchell

                Hotchin

                • Ant

Forgot Hotchin was one of Carrick Graham’s clients.

So that might be the leaking of SFO info to someone they are investigating right there.

According to a Herald article Graham started working for Hotchin around February 2011, latest email dated 10th of May 2011.

Beyond doubt now that Key and his office have known longer than last night. They really are a major piece of work.

Was Mark Hotchin involved in the campaign to get rid of Adam Feeley? If so, huge questions about state of NZ politics.

plus: a reminder tweet to Paddy Gower that it was Oravida chairman who bought Hotchin’s mansion … and Paddy is pushing this ….

do you think the email was stolen or released to mr eagleston by one of the recipients

      • Karen 34.2.1

An interesting exchange over on the NBR. According to Hooten the PMs office knew on Wednesday and according to #17 Maria Sherwood Key also knew and only decided to act when he was told SST was publishing a story tomorrow. Hard to know what the real agenda is here.

        http://m.nbr.co.nz/article/speculation-collins-will-be-sacked-1230pm-ck-161688#comments

      • infused 34.2.2

Haven’t read the story really. But they will be internal. He’s probably sat on it for ages, waiting for the time. And like others said, Bill English distancing himself from her a few days ago was probably when this plan went in to motion.

      • Puddleglum 34.2.3

Quite shocking to many right-wingers, I imagine, that John Key is making political capital (at least some supporters of Key seem to think he has) out of releasing a stolen email.

First Hager does it to make money and now Key has done it to try to win an election.

        Such people must be livid.

After all – the email was stolen!

Either that or it was passed on by one of the recipients – all of whom must be implicated in the very ‘operation’ he is sacking Collins for participating in.

In that case, will Key reveal his ‘source’ (directly to the people of New Zealand or to the investigation) or does he now believe that he’s a journalist who can hide his sources?

  34. Tom Gould 35

I bet certain email servers are being purged as we speak. Waiting until the inquiry is announced would be destroying evidence. Herald running with Collins as the victim of a “two year smear campaign” and with Key acting firmly and decisively. You’ve got to hand it to these Tories. But remember Nixon fired Haldeman and Erlichman hoping it would stop the bleeding. And it didn’t. Looks like Key’s a gonner.

  35. NZJester 36

Key’s press conference shows a man looking very rattled and the Key smile of past press conferences is gone.
He looks like a possum caught in the headlights about to be hit by a car. Unfortunately for him I think that car is an Election 2014 model that is not going to swerve right to try and go around him leaving him standing. I think it will move left to more safely run him over so we do not end up in the gutter on the right side of the road.

  36. cogito 37

    Good riddance. Collins was FILTH.

Time for Key to go too.

Sick of the lot of them.

  37. Lanthanide 38

Whaleoil’s 2:30 announcement is that he’s going to start a media company.

Wonder if that’ll last as long as his tenure at Truth did 🙄

  38. Richies McClaw 39

Hilarious to see David Garrett using his credibility (?) to defend Collins integrity (?) over at the rag. How long before we see Collins becoming a regular poster over there?

  39. Inky 40

They’re describing Collins as “defiant”. That’s laughable. The woman gave a brief, prepared speech and then ran away without having the guts to defend herself against any questions. Tough scrapper? No, all mouth and no trousers. But that’s bullies for you, isn’t it? They’ll only stand up when they have overwhelming firepower to back them up. When the odds are a bit more even, they do a Collins and make a frantic dash for the exit.

Judith, you’re the absolute epitome of blue-rinsed gutlessness. You promoted an image as a hard, ballsy street fighter when you were just a lily-livered coward. You’re not Crusher Collins, that’s BS. There’s a far more accurate name for you. I dub thee Cupcake Collins.

  40. Thinker 41

    So:

    1. Key has said this latest thing is the worst. Seems he is now acting as if the emails are genuine, then; and
    2. All very well to step her down, long after parliament closed and there’s only a few weeks until the election. If this is serious enough to step her down, then it ought to be serious enough to move her down the party list. If not, then it isn’t much more than a leave of absence until September 29th.
  41. Not a PS Staffer 42

“Ms Collins had referred former SFO chief executive Adam Feeley to the State Services Commission for celebrating the laying of charges against failed company Bridgecorp with a bottle of champagne recovered from Bridgecorp’s former headquarters in 2010.

The Commission found that this was ill-advised and poor judgement.”

The State Service Commission acted extremely ill-advisedly and showed appalling judgement to do anything other than rejects Collins’ referral out. It was frivilous. This suggests to me that Senior Civil Servants were gutless in responding to pressure from the PM’s office and from Collins. The Commission of enquiry should include the SCC in its scope.

    • yeshe 42.1

and here is the earlier NBR story by Matt Nippert referred to by name in the email released today …

“In another damning blow, last week the Herald reported Mr Feeley awarded a copy of Allan Hubbard’s biography A Man Out of Time as a “booby prize” at an SFO Christmas raffle.

Ms Collins has referred the matter to the State Services Commission which this week dragged the chain by declining to give a timeframe for the conclusion of its probe. “It’s still progressing, we’re working on it as fast as we can. We’re hoping to release it as quickly as possible,” a spokeswoman for the commission said.”

      http://www.nbr.co.nz/article/feeley-%E2%80%98lucky%E2%80%99-not-held-our-standards-%E2%80%93-police-assn-102410

No coincidences then that it all played out exactly as outlined by Slater in his email today.

    • BLiP 42.2

That’s not how I read the leaked email. It looks as if Collins went to the State Services Commission with “concerns” over a high staff turnover at the SFO. Needless to say she wasn’t previously concerned about high staff turnover prior to her need to ratfuck Feeley.

      • yeshe 42.2.1

but why did she want Feeley gone Blip ?

        • weka 42.2.1.1

It’s the core question, still to be answered.

How to Retrieve Deleted Call Log on iPhone Without a Computer: A StepbyStep Guide Losing your iPhone call history can be frustrating, especially when you need to find a specific number or recall an important conversation. But before you panic, know that there are ways to retrieve deleted call logs on your iPhone, even without a computer. This guide will explore various methods, ranging from simple checks to utilizing iCloud backups and thirdparty applications. So, lets dive in and recover those lost calls! 1. Check Recently Deleted Folder: Apple understands that accidental deletions happen. Thats why they introduced the Recently Deleted folder for various apps, including the Phone app. This folder acts as a safety net, storing deleted call logs for up to 30 days before permanently erasing them. Heres how to check it: Open the Phone app on your iPhone. Tap on the Recents tab at the bottom. Scroll to the top and tap on Edit. Select Show Recently Deleted. Browse the list to find the call logs you want to recover. Tap on the desired call log and choose Recover to restore it to your call history. 2. Restore from iCloud Backup: If you regularly back up your iPhone to iCloud, you might be able to retrieve your deleted call log from a previous backup. However, keep in mind that this process will restore your entire phone to the state it was in at the time of the backup, potentially erasing any data added since then. Heres how to restore from an iCloud backup: Go to Settings > General > Reset. Choose Erase All Content and Settings. Follow the onscreen instructions. Your iPhone will restart and show the initial setup screen. Choose Restore from iCloud Backup during the setup process. Select the relevant backup that contains your deleted call log. Wait for the restoration process to complete. 3. Explore ThirdParty Apps (with Caution): ...
