Ash Sarkar is a great interviewer, Matt Kennard is in the mold of John Pilger's speaking truth to power. Safe hands.

'I won't leave'
Yes, if you leave
And rather than you believe
We gave you enough
Now you can break
Good storage
And don't come back.

An anti-migrant electro-dance song titled Je Partira Pas (I won’t leave) has taken French social media by storm, despite efforts to ban it.
The track, credited to an artist named Grazy Girl, first aired on June 21 during the Fête de la Musique (Music Day) in France.
The song quickly went viral on social media platform TikTok, amassing a large following and hitting 47,000 views in three days.
TikTok intervened, deleting two versions of the song. The first was removed on June 26, rendering all related videos silent with a message indicating the tune was “unavailable.” The second version, used in around a hundred video posts, was taken down on June 27. By then song had garnered several hundred thousand views.
TikTok’s bans have not deterred users from re-uploading the track manually. Consequently, it has spread to other social media platforms such as X and YouTube.
The SOS Racism organisation filed a complaint against the song on June 27 for “provocation to racial hatred”.
Dominique Sopo, President of SOS Racism, highlighted that the lyrics specifically targeted people of Arab or Muslim origin, exemplified by terms including “djellaba” (kaftan) and “Fatma” (an Arabic girl’s name meaning “baby’s nurse”).

They are scientists, doctors, real estate managers… and they have dual nationality. Speaking with Le Monde, they share a deep sense of injustice and their concerns for France.
Some were born in Algeria, Morocco, Lebanon or Cameroon before emigrating with their parents. Others were born in France to foreign parents. And some settled here as adults, and acquired French nationality through marriage. Since Monday, June 24, when the far-right party's president, Jordan Bardella, presented the Rassemblement National (RN) program for the legislative elections, the announcement of his intention to ban dual nationals from certain so-called "strategic" jobs has worried, hurt and outraged these French people who have retained dual nationality.

Russia has run out of physically-able older men, ethnic minorities, and young men from poorer regions. But rather than calling up able-bodied Moscovites of fighting age, they've gone to their allies for more cannon fodder.

On Wednesday, the Kyiv Post reported that Pyongyang had announced that it was sending “a military engineering unit” to Donetsk Oblast. Russia has controlled portions of this region since 2014, but this is also the area where it recently forced Ukrainian troops from the ruined town of Avdiivka after months of hard fighting. Russian forces partially occupied the village of Novooleksandrivka this week as they continue to press forward in this area. It’s unclear whether the North Korean unit would be deployed inside the long-occupied areas of Donetsk, or positioned closer to the front lines.
While the official line is that North Korean troops will help Russian forces rebuild some of the areas they destroyed through bombardment with heavy artillery and glide bombs, a U.S. Defense Department briefing on Tuesday offered a different possibility: Russia may use North Korean forces as “cannon fodder.”

Funny that the CoC claims unity and concentrate on "Outcomes." Perhaps Mitchell is on a different outcome that Luxon hasn't been told about?
