    Jonathon Pie roasts Americans before the election:

    Pie’s rival has mysteriously fallen ill and Pie is unleashed live across America. On air he battles Democrats and Republicans abroad whilst navigating the BBC's ridiculously stringent impartiality rules. Off-air the team must pull together to hide some dark secrets from Roger.

    Episode 38 @28:00 Chhour spits the dummy.

    ‘These questions are revolting’ – an interview with Children’s Minister Karen Chhour

    Who's old enough to remember when all of the right-wingers were outraged that Tova dared to ask her if the boot camps would be permitted to use physical force against their rangatahi, including Karen Chhour who called these & related questions "revolting"

    The Children’s Minister is defending proposing giving “third-party providers” the ability to use force against young people in bootcamps – although she can’t yet say who those providers could be.

    @LewSOS

    The answer is "all of you". All of you are old enough to remember that because it happened in August The time horizon between something being an unthinkable outrage and it becoming a bog-standard part of the govt's policy aenda now stands at three months

    This week on the Tova podcast, the Children’s Minister abruptly ended our interview in a bit of a huff.

    To be fair she did give us the time we’d been promised, we just didn’t think it would end quite like that.

    There was a lot to cover with ACT’s Karen Chhour:
