Words, meanings, rhetoric in the context of intense lobbying and hijacking of NZ mainstream media. Expect more to come.

The FSU cracks me up every time because they see censorship just about everywhere laugh

How to make a submission on the Regulatory Standards Bill [5 June 2025]
It's easy! PLEASE do it. You have until 1:00pm on Monday 23 June 2025.

This ‘we know best’ attitude is epitomised by Mr Seymour’s arrogant dismissal of any disagreement with what he proposes. It is infecting the select committee process.

At least Kiwis have been granted the opportunity to make a submission on this far-reaching ACT-sponsored bill, unlike the Equal Pay Amendment Bill.

Pay equity amendment puzzles [8 May 2025]
The puzzle was solved on Tuesday when, late in the piece, the hitherto unknown Equal Pay Amendment Bill was added to the list. This bill was introduced under urgency and debated immediately through all stages, with no referral to a select committee (so no public feedback). It was passed by the House late on Wednesday.

Well we have been spared the crowing!! Wee Davie had another loss with the Debate.

Let us make sure that becomes three with the R S Billdevil Submissions!!

Yep, his warped beliefs do not stack up on the international stage. He's the deputy PM of New Zealand, had loads of time to prepare, and couldn't argue his way out of an exhibition debate.

He also complained the audience was against his side. Well, that would be because his side was arguing for evil.

    Farrar watch:

David has published a misogynistic, anti-Jacinda Ardern article by some nut job from The Telegraph. The article makes fun of women, mothers, their emotions, their work, and empathy as a concept.

It finishes, and Farrar is careful to quote and promote this, with a story about the Queen apparently putting down Ardern's parenting question by saying, "just get on with it".

The final quote highlights three things:

    • The Queen long ago parked any personal emotion when dealing with people.
    • What actual parenting that we all do did the Queen have to do? It's a dead set mystery but the answer is fuck all, I expect.
    • Who would promote the Queen's advice on parenting given she produced one son whose first wife hated him so much that she fell into the arms of a playboy and died in a car crash fleeing paparazzi, and whose sons hardly speak to each other. And she produced another son who regularly visited the sex island of an American playboy who offered him underaged girls and was likely murdered in prison.

Not the flex against Ardern Farrar thinks it is.

I do wonder what all these powerful men think their end game is. The more they lack empathy for others, the less likely that it will be pretty.

I do wonder what all these powerful men think their end game is.

Dehumanising (the growing ranks of) 'bottom feeders' and ‘bots’ is a 'game' they play.

Yes Muttonbird. You are correct. yes

Farrar forgot to mention, pregnant new and empathetic Jacinda was also chosen to address The Heads of Commonwealth on that visit.

So what put down did the Queen give?laugh

The misogyny of Farrar is illustrated by choosing one event over the other, to build a false story. Such people deserve distain.angry

These are the builders of misinformation as their twisted view is magnified on line imo.

Come home and stand upright here!
    Tautoko!
Seymour is a fraud, and it’s time for a young generation of newer immigrants, Pakeha and tangata whenua to send him packing and show their power, not succumbing to the evils of the old worlds with their cynical networks of power and crooks. Luxon, Seymour and Collins are fetid and foul and their actions are worse.

Find a space for us all to live and be heard, not bamboozled with pretend legalese, or allowing the railroading of our country for the benefit of the wealthiest foreigners, ignoring principles of democracy and law making. Reject this swing towards the mad right, with their insane healthcare advice and bully tactics and tired racism.

“But I also do think that he's just doing his classic spiel of invoking equality to argue for disenfranchising indigenous people in New Zealand.

“He tries to portray his argument as really positive, because he thinks that for a hopeful future, ‘let's not be divisive and let's not bring hatred into the argument’ but the proposition isn't bringing hatred into the argument, it’s saying that this is history and this happened.”

There is no universal principle, but that which we can agree on, but if the winning argument is no people are honest and no one can keep their word, but that money buys it or bombs enforce it then we are doomed.

The world of the Pacific is the new world too and it can lead. It’s time for some new deal, not merely the theft again of older ones.
