Parked under a coolibah tree by a billabong in the Paroo River. No swagmen or women, jumbucks, troopers, grey nomads, santas, coronaviruses or anyone else in sight, just the odd emu family. Christmas in the Queensland outback is oddly cool and green. Cheers to all!
Xmas Eve at First Church to listen to the choir, then off to a quiet spot camping with my GF for a few days, away from WiFi & electricity & people, to count our blessings and enjoy the silence. Happy holidays.
Been trying to get back in shape since I broke my arm in Feb. Overdid it today, playing badminton for a couple of hours in Auckland heat and humidity. I'm absolutely buggered. And I have a dozen people to shop for tomorrow! AAAaaaarrrgh FML
