     No it is her behaviour, not her person Chris T, and Hoskins screeching affirmations of her and denunciations of Jacinda. He won't admit he got it wrong though… not for a minute. He appears to be a bad judge of character, or it fitted his agenda at the time.

   But it's his own fault. The Curse of Hosking strikes again … whenever he complains about Ardern and tells her to be like A.N.Other, that person will fall.

     I have commented before that Mike Hosking has a nearly perfect track record. If he complains about something or even anything – then you can pretty much guarantee that whatever he is moaning about is a good idea.

     When ever he says that something is better, then inevitably it turns out that whoever it is or whatever idea it is – will turn out to be a dud or outright disaster.

     Remember when he was proclaiming that the the government was over reacting to covid-19, and that we should be as relaxed about it as Trump / Boris / Sweden? Or that having a travel bubble with Australia would be safe?

     Or that car-crashes were all 'idiot-related', just before crashing an uninsured a 140k Alfa Romeo? Well ok – he was probably correct on that one.

     He has been like that forever – an incredibly stupid ignorant narcissistic person whose only real skill appears to be in self-promotion. But he is reliably wrong on (almost) everything over the long term. You can bet on it.

   Hey MS – you've called him "Hopkins" at one point. Might be confusing him with Jim Hopkins, who (though mildly amusing when younger) by the time he reached his dotage was not a lot better than Hosking. Ultimately he became famous mostly for wearing glasses with coloured frames. Hosking's legacy will be similarly derisory.

   I doubt that you are confusing Hosking with the great late Victorian English Catholic poet GM Hopkins – a sensitive genius rather than a dishonest scoundrel

   A savvy media operator would've hedged their bets as the corruption charges were signalled last year IIRC.

    Her handling of covid was extraordinary up until delta. Far better than the ruler of Danistan down south. Who even with harsher lockdowns than NSW can’t control delta.

    hoskins is an idiot, but you can’t judge a leader by their non voting fanbois. I thought she did remarkably well for her position. Her private life hot mess on the other hand…

      Her approving of funding for projects promoted by her secret MP boyfriend was the issue

      'whether the Premier personally approved the allocation of $20 million in funds for a Wagga Wagga music conservatorium while she was in a secret relationship with Maguire'

      and also

      '2017 $5 mill for Clay Target Shooting Association 'clubhouse' in Maguire’s electorate'

      It seems that money that was appropriated for specific project types and then didnt end up there.

      Narcissists never reflect on what they say or write. They have the ability to block off all memory of their failures and misdiagnosis. It enables them to continue to misguide people with their false reckons.

      I had the misfortune to be associated with one such person. They can do a lot of damage.

    However, the funding was set aside by ERC in December 2016 and provided a pathway to approval provided conditions were met. Infrastructure NSW then appears to have taken over reviewing the project and once it was assessed again after changes, the project was green-lighted in August 2018.'

    Seems to have everything wrong about the eligibility and low value for money and yet ..

    Berejiklian's government spent $200m of federal bushfire recovery funding without opening applications. Only $2.5m went to Labor seats and the bush fire affected Blue Mountains got nothing.

      Two of the grants werent even eligible as they we outside bush fire affected areas: in your link.

      'The NSW government put forward to the federal agency funding approvals for Rowlee Wines for $425,522 to fund a farm to table restaurant and event space in Orange, NSW.

      The government also put forward an approval for Nick O'Leary Wines for $421,000 to fund a cellar door, restaurant and function centre in Wallaroo, NSW.

      A new Federal election is highly likely in the next few months and the the corruption will likely increase as the 'buy seats' that are at risk, and favour mates.

    She had to resign, and can be charged, with some shady deals with money.

    The murderously incompetent reaction to covid, which has cost three Aussie States,, and New Zealand, will remain unpunished!

    Hoskins, ACT, National MP's and heavyweights in NZ business, will continue to push us to be like NSW, without any fear of consequences.
