Judith Collins: The obnoxious right

Seems that Collins likes to call others bullies, but doesn’t mind being simply abusive and derogatory in her own language.

Then she gets stuck in again: both men are numpties with bells on.

Hey Judith have you done anything of such significance for New Zealand? Do you think the National government gave the fingers to the Commonwealth and broke the Gleneagles agreement? If you were anti-tour as you claim why would you want to be associated with the party that perpetrated that hypocrisy?

Wouldn’t that make both Bolger and McKinnon much bigger numpties who supported the government that ran a system of racial segregation and oppression of around 40 million people in their own country?

And actually Minto a hero for standing up to it? Or would it destroy your political career to acknowledge that Minto was beloved and brave in leading that protest and deserves recognition for it in his own country?

Stuff was headlining this as ‘Collins trolls twitter’ or some such inane post-‘Crusher’ meme. Tim Watkin takes up the challenges and only gets a diversion and a dogmatic response.

Let’s call it what it is:  more insults fly from the obnoxious right who like to play the man and not the ball, especially when the facts are inconvenient. It’s not surprising that the Collins faction has been associated with Cameron Slater. The modus operandi of this dismissal by Collins of both Cunliffe and John Minto has is similar to that of Slaters blog.

Fortunately not all of the the public image of John Minto is made from press reports of recent years and the comments of cabinet ministers. Many people were there and they haven’t forgotten. You bet we knew where we were in 1981.
