Another Friday in Gaza and more dead and wounded Palestinians.
We know how this goes. Palestinians, some with with sling shots or kites are involving themselves in “clashes” with Israel soldiers who are popping off live ammunition. And near every damned photograph our media prints shows a Palestinian youth in an apparent act of provocation.
But this is a post about kites. Odd things, kites.
If you attempt to fly one from within the Gaza strip and attach some kind of incendiary contraption to it as it takes on the wind towards Israel, then you just might find yourself in the crosshairs. Literally.
But if you attempt to fly one from Israel and attach some kind of incendiary contraption to it as it takes on the wind towards Gaza, you get arrested and get to tell the world you were just making a “humorous video”.
