On yesterdays get together at ‘the botanics’, I think it’s appropriate to pass on the appreciation self professed lurkers expressed for/of posters and commenters who provide political debate and perspectives on these pages.
Briefly, there was some fairly wide ranging, informal discussion including some initial explorations of likely structure, collective potential and future possibilities.
On a basic level, it was agreed that whatever eventuates will be neither tied to or associated with ‘the standard’ nor any political party/org.
It was also agreed to meet again next Saturday at the same time and place (1pm at the bandstand). So, if you want to shape or influence how this nascent political presence might manifest itself in the future, simply come along and add your voice/expertise/understandings/enthusiasm and also, spread the word.
