Are internationally prohibited war crimes allowed to be committed by Westerners?

Is this the way wars will be fought from now on?

    From the Guardian:

In the second world war, guerrilla forces scattered large quantities of booby-trapped objects likely to be attractive to civilians. The idea was to cause widescale and indiscriminate death. The Japanese manufactured a tobacco pipe with a charge detonated by a spring-loaded striker. The Italians produced a headset that blew up when it was plugged in. More than half a century later, a global treaty came into force which “prohibited in all circumstances to use booby-traps or other devices in the form of apparently harmless portable objects that are specifically designed and constructed to contain explosive material”……

    https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2024/sep/18/the-guardian-view-on-israels-booby-trap-war-and-unacceptable

The evidence is compelling that Bársony-Arcidiacono, is the alleged mastermind behind the boobytrapping of civilian objects, pagers and walkie talkies, which is a recognised, war crime.

Will Bársony-Arcidiacono ever have to answer in a court of law to these charges?

What if Bársony-Arcidiacono instead of being a Westerner was an Arab or African who had allegedly committed these crimes?

    True.

Not one white Westerner has ever faced any court over the Empire invasions.

White people celebrate their White conquests even to this day.

Britain stole Palestine in 1919 as a trophy of war.

Jews invade Palestine in 1948 backed by Britain.

The history of Western imperialism is as nasty and sordid as you say.

I agree with everything you have written here Koina. But you have got one little historical detail wrong. And it is a point that many people miss. But it is a detail that when understood unveils the true horrific cynical reason for the founding of the so called "Jewish State".

"Jews invade Palestine in 1948 backed by Britain." Koina

      More correctly:

Zionists invade Palestine in 1948 backed by America.

After the fall of France to the Nazi imperialists in 1940, and before the D-Day Invasion in 1944 the main theatre of war was the battle between the British Empire and the German and Italian fascist empires for North Africa and the Middle East.

      In a footnote:

At time as a full colony of the British Empire, the bulk of New Zealand's war effort was spent fighting for the British empire in the Middle East and North Africa.

When Japan invaded the Pacific Australia withdrew most of their forces from the Middle East to defend Australia. As a lickspittle of empire, New Zealand troops were not allowed to leave to defend this country. This reflected the importance of this oil rich region to the British Empire.

In 1945 following the defeat of the German and Italian fascist forces, the British Empire, with the help of their junior French parner, was left as the dominant Western imperial power in the strategic oil rich Middle East.

      From Wikipedia the online encyclopedia:

      https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Suez_Crisis

In the aftermath of the Second World War, Britain's military strength was spread throughout the region, including the vast military complex at Suez with a garrison of 80,000, making it one of the largest military installations in the world. The Suez base was an important part of Britain's strategic position in the Middle East…..

      https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Suez_Crisis

A situation soon to be challenged by the US.

"USA establish military base in Israel 1950 to dominate 400 million Muslims." Koina

It is this sentence that gives you a clue.

      https://www.jstor.org/stable/24913659

The Suez Crisis of 1956 was the last gasp of the British Empire in the Middle East and North Africa, (Egypt)..

On October 29, 1956, Israeli forces moved across the border, defeated the Egyptian army in the Sinai, captured Sharm al-Sheikh and thereby guaranteed Israeli strategic control over the Straits of Tiran…..

…..By December 22, the last British and French troops had withdrawn from Egyptian territory, but Israel kept its troops in Gaza until March 19, 1957, when the United States finally compelled the Israeli Government to withdraw its troops…..

      https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Suez_Crisis

The creation of America's unsinkable aircraft carrier in the Middle East

Immediately after the Second World War, Europe was divded into occupied zones administerd by the winning powers, To undermine British control of the Middle East in the American zone Displaced Persons DPs were encouraged to immigrate to Palestine.

The British Empire sought to prevent the US backed Zionist inavasion of Palestine, not from any altruistic motive, but to preserrve their colonial domination of the region.

The US on the other hand encouraged Zionism in the Diplaced Perssons Camps in the American Zone, giving free rein to Zionist recruiters. While putting restrictions on immigration of DPs to the US, (the favoured destination of most DPs).

David Ben-Gurion, leader of the Jewish community in Mandatory Palestine, visited DP camps in Europe several times in 1945 and 1946. His visits raised the DPs’ morale and rallied them in support of a Jewish state……

…..the Jewish Brigade Group led a network of groups organizing ships to bring DPs to Mandatory Palestine without British permission.

The British intercepted most of these ships and refused them entry. Between 1945 and 1948, the British captured more than 50,000 Jewish refugees at sea. They sent them to detention camps on the Mediterranean island of Cyprus. In one extraordinary case in 1947, the British stopped a ship, the Exodus 1947, en route. There were 4,500 Holocaust survivors on board the ship. The British refused these survivors entry to Mandatory Palestine and forcibly transported them to the British-occupied zone of Germany. This incident attracted worldwide publicity and embarrassed the British government. It raised sympathy for the postwar plight of Europe’s Jews. And it helped sway international public opinion in favor of the eventual recognition of a Jewish state in 1948….

…..The ship "Henrietta Szold," carrying more than 500 Jewish "illegal" immigrants from Greece to Palestine, arrived in Haifa on August 14, 1946. British authorities immediately interned the immigrants and deported them to British internment camps on the island of Cyprus.

Three great forces rule the world: stupidity, fear and greed. – Einstein

Less than 1% of GDP to fix child poverty and associated costs (~3% of GDP). Alas, NAct MPs will resist certain actions to fix child poverty with every fibre of their being.

Fixing child poverty would cost <1% of GDP [22 Sept 2024]
DPMC advised the coalition Government that staying on the previous child poverty reduction track would cost $3 billion, which is less than 1% of GDP, but Upston says 'not realistic' to spend that

The $3b child poverty price tag: Why National minister won’t write that cheque [23 Sept 2024]
Meanwhile, the Green Party’s child poverty reduction spokesman Ricardo Menéndez March said the $3b price tag shows “poverty is a political choice”.

A choice the current Government has chosen to preserve and prolong time and time again with decisions that put an already privileged few before essentially everyone else.

Menéndez March pointed out the cost of reinstating the full interest deductions for residential property – often described as the landlords’ tax cut – was $2.9 billion.

Biological Poverty Line for Infants—Evidence and Implications
    [22 April 2024]
Decades of behavioral and educational research have clearly demonstrated the powerful detrimental effects of exposure to poverty on child development. Building on this, a burgeoning body of literature has also demonstrated adverse effects on brain development. Together such findings suggest that exposure to poverty very early in life alters the structure and function of the developing brain. This may be one mechanism by which poverty negatively affects developmental outcomes, often with lifelong consequences.

So with Trump not running in 2028, will their great populist fever break?

It's still running hot in Germany, France, Netherlands, Austria, and to a lesser extent here.

I know it's too early and he hasn't lost yet, but for the most part the left has had no solid answer to it.

Koina, keep in mind that those countries amongst others, notably Germany, Italy and the Soviets probably killed just as many “ whites “ amongst themselves than in all the other non- white countries they invaded. It doesn’t excuse it by any means but merely explains that greed is by far the motivating factor for slaughter, rather than just racism. Domination is colour blind. There was also a fair bit of domination and slaughter in this country as well before Tasman and Cook ever hove into view.
