the argument is more the damage it does to society. There should be a limit somewhere, like we do for things like drink driving or smoking. It was at high school – the players were from forms 3 and 4. Quite big groups (40+?), and some (most/all?) of our teachers must have known about it. I don't recall any serious injuries, but it was over half a century ago. It's possible that the school stamped it out, but I’m not sure about that either.
I wasn’t sporty, but on balance my (limited) memories of bull rush are positive.
