Yes, John Key – always desperate to ridicule others to distract from their points, before running and hiding before any return fire – is saying that other MPs have to tone down their nastiness, as the public doesn’t like it.
If the public was watching, they would long have tired of you, Mr Key.
It’ll be interesting to see if the media hold him up to his new high standard next time he starts taking aim, particularly if he gets to the levels of his PMs statement at the start of the year, which surely must have been the tone-setter…
