Just saw this…pretty good. Didn’t realise Darby was another Signer Oner.

Nice to see a bit of humour injected into something as grim as a toiling planet.

  1. Forgive an ancient geek? But who is this?

I suppose that not watching TV much doesn’t help my recognition….

  2. shame on your lprent. He’s just the third wheel of New Zealand’s fourth most popular folk duo – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=175J8D-aLTI

And star of recently released film The Boat That Rocked (http://www.flicks.co.nz/news/the-boat-that-rocked-featurette/)

    Shades of Ricky Geurvais???

  4. Oh him. Hell I’ve pretty much been ignoring flight of the conchords as well. Apart from the gig in Largo (that is a great clip), I’ve only seen them on youtube clips.

  5. Ms X 5

This is funny? And meaningful? How?

  6. Alby 6

I don’t really know why its funny Mrs X but honestly Rhys is hilarious with his pretence of being such a goober – love him….and good on him for standing up for something worthwhile.

Ms X “This is funny? And meaningful? How?”
    You serious? ReallY?

  8. I feel that the title of this post promised rather more than was actually offered.

[lprent: Demeter was just following the Key example]

  9. I always though Rhys, stole I mean borrowed a lot from Ricky Gervais’s David Brent.

Still Rhys is a big talent.

Brett, the only time I ever agree with you is when you talk about comedians.

It gives me hope that we might become great friends one day.

Gervais has a lot to answer for. Someone tell me that “The Office” series is finished… I might drag the TV out under from the heap at the back of the woodshed..

  10. hahaha.

We were bound to agree on something.

Still the greenpeace sign on campaign is flawed.lets shoot all the cows and ban cars that will get our carbon emissions down. All though i liked pol-pots solution he shot all public servents and anyone with university education
maybe we can learn from the reds after all

      That’s because you’re a totalitarian, graham.

      Good for you.

      • graham 11.1.1

        and the left isn’t lol

        • felix 11.1.1.1

Don’t know what that means. You probably don’t really either, if you were asked to define “left” in any meaningful way you’d be up all night drooling on your chubby little hands.

What I DO know though, beyond any doubt, is that people who think it’s a good idea to kill “all public servents (sic) and anyone with university education” is a totalitarian.

          And that’s you.

          You twisted subhuman moron.

Just repeat after me I LOVE NATIONAL AND JOHN KEY

[lprent: repeat after me – you’re looking like a troll – READ THE POLICY and stop acting like a dickhead. Adding you to auto-moderation until I’m sure you’ve read this, and the POLICY of this site.

I hate idiots who feel the need to shout rather than develop an argument. ]
