I did think about Labour losing the support of voters aligned to Sharma.
Well said.
Would it be asking too much when there is a National government to not flog off Kiwibank?
The doubling of the cost of imaging has probably occurred due to ACC arguing the cause of impairment. I suppose it is cheaper for ACC to pay for the imaging, medical reports and staff hours arguing entitlement than covering a no fault injury.
Good luck to Provost on her new appointment. The morale in the police is not that great when it comes to being degraded or reporting incidents of bullying amoung the ranks.
I do think that Sharma is bright enough to know what defamation is. Will McAnulty take a defamation case against Sharma? I have not read the Sunak comparison.
Yes and as a list MP. I do think there is a difference between an electorate and a list MP when it turns to custard. One requires a by election the other is a space on a list.
Sharma could sharpen up his team skills. The government needs to show transparency on what transpired between McAnulty and Sharma. Having a big ego is not the way to go. Dealing with the facts is the way to go.
When it came to the care an ex partner received from a DHB the nursing staff showed diligence and the doctors made error after error. Went in for a simple op, had 3 surgeries in a week and the third surgery was for a treatment injury. Returned from surgery...
Doctors are not god. I have read enough Health and Disability Commission decisions to know that. I also read about the conduct of doctors in the media.
Just to add that the current Chief Government Whip is Duncan Webb, he took on the role 14 June 2022. Webb is age 55 and has been a lawyer. I have found in life that the right thing to do when there is a dispute which will not go away is to establish why it...
Sharma is the electorate MP for Hamilton West. Sharma is no slacker when it comes to proving he can work hard and for the benefit of people. Medical school and some surgical training is not for the faint hearted.
I have given the Sharma McAnulty relationship a bit of thought. McAnulty was a list MP for a term and he was selected as a junior whip. In the 2020 election he won the seat of Wairarapa and became an electorate MP and a chief government whip. Sharma and ...
I saw The weird arrangement for MPs staffers after I made my comment. I have given the process of Parliamentary Service (PS) some more thought. I can see the relationship between the MP and PS being the decision maker. When it comes to a review process ...
Sharma does not trust the process when it comes to raising how he feels about conduct toward him as an MP. What sort of outcome did he want? I do think that Parliamentary Services need to look into what McAnulty has said to Sharma and to his staff about ...
Will be interesting to see if Johnson is demoted to the back bench. I cannot see him being quiet or not having an ambition to be a leading minister. How many PMs has the Queen now seen come and go in her 70 year reign?
Whoever gets elected as the next British PM, the first job I would assign them is to sort out the bench seating in the debating chamber. They are packed in like sardines in a tin.
I looked at the greenhouse emission targets and thought that was a negative for NZ. The deal with the EU shores up supply as food availability is becoming more unpredictable when it comes to supply with some goods. There is scope for the quantity to be ...
Your second paragraph is my view as well. Access to firearms are more important to those who insist on having them than the safety of children when in school. I have come to the conclusion that many people in the US feel so unsafe unless they are armed. ...
It takes an ova and a sperm to create a baby regardless of the gender a person identifies as. Any person who needs a termination should not be affected psychologically, socially or financially. The Roe V Wade decision will have a potentially devastating ...
Warning content may upset some. Who will pay for the DNA test so the mother and child know whether or not the child was conceived by rape? In my mother's day there was no DNA testing and conceiving a child and not knowing if the child was conceived by rape...
Sam looks like a happy candidate because the National Party have not had a leadership change this year.
Xi has his hands full dealing with Omicron and decreased productivity. See what happens in the next month with Covid case numbers in Shanghai.
Jan Logie did achieve having some birth injuries being covered by ACC. Logie is currently chipping away at the ACC sensitive claims process. It is brutal, repetitive and slow. Davidson has not done well with emergency housing. Now that the country has ...
Hipkins could have brain fog from Covid. Needs to refresh the traffic light rules before he presents. Just because the mask rules have changed in some situations there is nothing stopping a person from wearing a mask if they choose to.
War is the failure of politics Yes and the impact is devastating.
There is no single contender to stand up to Putin. He is heavily guarded, he appears to be in good physical health and people would fear the internal intelligence service under his command.

Will Putin last as President until 2024 and two 6 year terms after that? Putin has a master plan otherwise he would not have extended the constitution in April 2021 to run as President for more than two terms and the terms were extended to 6 years each. ...
Even if news sources were not blocked there is still the threat of a person or their family being harmed for speaking out. War is so ugly for those who are caught up in it. The soldiers and cilvillians who are killed or severely injured. The loss of a home...
Correction Russia does not share a border with Pakistan.
Cats, with their independent spirit and beguiling purrs, have captured the hearts of humans for millennia. In New Zealand, felines are no exception, boasting the highest national cat ownership rate globally [definition cat nz cat foundation]. An estimated 1.134 million pet cats grace Kiwi households, compared to 683,000 dogs ...
