Well they look like morons, and they behave like morons.
They're going to take an awful long time to work through their grief. It's been weeks, and they're still in the 'denial' stage - with a hint of anger beginning to emerge.
And kiss goodbye to all that cannabis tax money too.
It will be a fitting end if he is evicted at gunpoint and thrown onto the streets.
Was it in crayon?
Agreed. Half the country have been labelled criminals by the other half of the country, and the "criminals" are Labour Green voters. We've shown loyalty to Labour, now it's time for them to return the favour.
I'm a solid Labour voter, but if they do nothing for the half of the country that voted Yes, I'll be supporting the Greens in future.
Winston's not there to enable the rape of our oceans anymore. Get the cameras on all fishing boats NOW.
In your vision of "democracy", is it acceptable for half the population to criminalise the other half of the population?
Nobody would be worrying about the 46% who lost if it was the other way around, because they could just continue to not use cannabis and not be persecuted by the law whatever the outcome. Basically, half the country has just voted to criminalise the other ...
Many Labour MPs owe their jobs to people who voted "Yes" to cannabis law reform. They need to know this in no uncertain terms.
A huge victory for crime and the black market. I'm very disappointed in Little's response. If the votes of nearly half the electorate are ignored and no meaningful cannabis law reform happens in this term, I'll be a brand new Green voter next election.
If people didn't want a Labour Government, why did they vote Labour? Here's a tip - next time there's an election, be true unto thy self, and vote for the party you want to govern.
I love the way Judith (remember her?) kept calling him "Doctor Shane".....as if he was on Shortland Street or something.
Soak it up.
Yeah! Election day rules!
Even if he got back in, it's extremely unlikely that he would be needed to form the government.
National's goose is cooked. The best that Nats can hope for is to influence the make up of the government by voting Labour to keep the Greens from being needed.
Any health issue is merely a red herring. This is really all about repression and persecution.
Tell-lie Tubbies?
I got in early in case there was another lockdown.
after what happened last time, Maori need to distance themselves from National to have any hope at all.
Judith wanted to be the mean girl, and make Jacinda cry. Now it's Judy's turn to cry.
How exactly do we need the wealthy boltholers? Do we need them to fence off our favourite walking tracks and fishing spots so they can have exclusive access for themselves?
Yes. Refugees are a better class of people who show and demonstrate gratitude to their new home - as opposed to the wealthy "passport buyers" who turn up with their sense of entitlement already fully formed, and duly take their places on the "ladder" many ...
Or should he keep digging until the hole is big enough for his whole rotten party to fit into?..... and then we could fill it in and build a toilet on the site.
I am not religious. I just do not think that it's the government's place to sign it's citizen's death warrants.
The red car with a green stripe will go a hell of a lot faster with the handbrake off.
True that. I wasn't thinking globally.
If there was a Nobel prize for being a horrible grogan, Judith would be a shoo-in.
It will be sad to see Winston go, but he probably would have been higher in the polls now if he hadn't tried to stymie the government at every turn. I'm picking that he learned his financial gymnastics when he was a Nat.
