He is not a leftie whilst not addressing the issue of population control.
A small clarification though ... Austro - Hungary only invaded Serbia after receiving German support to do so. The so-called blank cheque. And so in that sense Germany was mostly responsible for the war despite the Russian mobilisation occuring before the ...
The reasons men went to war in 1914- 18 was many and varied and changed over time - those that volunteered early thinking it would be a bit of adventure and be over by Xmas may have different reasons than those who were conscripted later and did have some ...
Am bloody pissed that Key is going to wreck the BCs chances at the MCG tomorrow...
Seems like dishonesty runs in the family...
AL has great taste currently spinning JL Hooker....not Katy Perry...
Possibly definitive for rats PU, did you read the article?
I see Slater is going on ( and on ) about a new newsfront that is being set up ( = Freed) , calling out for some resources etc. No doubt it will lead off with a scream and a roar about a vast left wing conspiracy involving the LP , Nicky Hagar, Matt McC, ...
When is the next reliable poll anyway?
Dead on.....http://brianedwardsmedia.co.nz/2014/11/on-the-uncanny-resemblance-between-john-key-and-sergeant-schultz/
Absolutely les, I have alot of confidence in him thus far. He wasn't even wearing a red checked shirt:). He is seriously solid and I see no evidence of the " wooden" meme.
Am a bit of an outlier on this, had Parker at 1 and Little at 2. So am happy with this. Now it's time for no more BS.
Interesting Lynn, I was close to your ranking but have reversed 1 & 2 , though not much in it - for me, main criteria is electability .
Up til now, have not been a Little supporter but this is sounding not too bad . Pity about the shirt though....
Yes heard it, cringeworthy, embarassing...
TFH - indeed; any temptation I may have had to support Greenies ( and there have been a large number of occasions ) has just gone down the toilet. What a fruitcake!
Some wise words here..... http://brianedwardsmedia.co.nz/2014/10/why-my-moneys-on-david-parker-and-why-labours-should-be-as-well/#comments

My interpretaion of what Mr Parker is pointing out here is that the lower to middling paid working people in society ( the conservative centre if you like ) , have better " buy - in" to their taxes supporting the welfare state, if their economic prospects ...
Mr Parker is the only candidate that I know of who explicitly states he wants more than equality of opportunity, that he wants much more equality of outcomes.
Just received a nicely presented card in the mail from David Parker. Of note, the verbiage ( the expected aspirational stuff ) includes quotes from all of the other leadership contenders. What a nice man, got my vote for sure.
PU - You missed out the bit where he said he didn't want to over emphasise this point....
Agree rms...
Very impressed, has breadth and depth...
Left field question - do you support NZ parliamentary recognition of a Palestinian state? If so, how will you go about facilitating this?
Hi David, thanks for your time here. On raising the age of entitlement to supernnuation - I can see where you are coming from on this, the greater proportion of the aging population being supported by a decreasing proportion of working people . On the ...
Absolutely agree; the other candidates, worthy people though they are, are second tier . Mike also forgot to mention that DP looks a little like M J Savage:)
Be clear - DC is way ahead of the rest. The rest is trying to find pearls...
Back to Jenk - if you are going to bag Parker, then you are going to have to bag DC as well - he advocated raising the super age too ( btw , I don't think it should be raised either, that is a right wing policy. Which proves my point about the hair ...
Well, feel a bit gutted by this. I did support DC, seemed genuine PM material to me , and indeed still does so.Where to from here? I know DC is telling us supporters to go for AL, but seeing him again on the box tonight, he still seems completely gormless....
I think Mr Parker is very credible actually. Is knowledgeable, competent, does not appear to represent an " interest ", and can do a good speech when required. My 86 year old mother says he is a very nice man. And he kinda looks like M J Savage.
Cats, with their independent spirit and beguiling purrs, have captured the hearts of humans for millennia. In New Zealand, felines are no exception, boasting the highest national cat ownership rate globally [definition cat nz cat foundation]. An estimated 1.134 million pet cats grace Kiwi households, compared to 683,000 dogs ...
