2. Could this be the most racist, anti-Māori NZ government in modern times?
3. Nicola Willis says National never campaigned on positive benefits for low income families

Honestly it's all past commenting……..it's only a hunch but I would say a clear majority are had it with this god awful regime…….
"Honestly it's all past commenting…"
Exactly how I feel Kat. So much so, I'm not commenting here – or elsewhere – much anymore. Every day there is eye-popping stuff that leaves me bereft of words. Willis' admission that National never campaigned on positive benefits for low income families but offers a pittance – not enough for a block of butter. Then she has the gall to rabbit on to Tame that growth is the answer, when we all know that under this government none of it will trickle down to low income families.
There… I'm not wholly bereft of words.
Yes Anne and to think we thought Muldoon was terrible….well he was…… but at least he had a connection to the community……especially Thea……..I think we have really hit rock bottom with this lot……….
Met Thea Muldoon once. Long after Muldoon had died. Very nice person who had been so under her husband's thumb, she didn't get a chance to blossom until after he had gone.
It is so past it, and yet there is still so much to say, because silence also isn't an option.
How do we describe this Government?
Unfeeling uncaring and unapologetic about their failures.
We are sick to our souls because Luxon has failed the "Governing for all test’, and so has Willis and the current Minister of Welfare, whose unbelievably callous cuts for her sorted bosses have added to widespread misery.
Someone said they "luxuriate in criticism as it proves they are making an impression"
Well when their clingons, Winston and The NZ Institute start threatening workers journalists and Left wing bloggers, and bad mouthing Ministers on the left, we know the wave of anger is startling them and they have started to "explain"
Key would tell them explaining is losing. I live in hope.
Good work MT.
They are cruel.
This is a government based on a lack of respect for the people of the country, division and self-interest. And why does Luxon need a hair net?
Great clips MTui.
I hate to say it but Hoskin did a great job in getting Luxon to agree that this government "calls out Maorification when we see it".
Luxon's Coalition has thoroughly pissed off about 60% of the electorate-Maori and women.
The Left should stroll in in 2026.
