I know there are more important things to discuss and National leader Simon Bridges receives more attention and posts than he probably deserves but dang it is like shooting fish in a barrel.  And his twitter game is pretty poor.  It makes you wonder who is in charge of his twitter account.

Tweets like this one:

I mean apart from both subjects being the subject of a referendum how can the United Kingdom pulling out of the European Union be compared to something that is already happening throughout the world without any difficulty?

Then there was this tweet:

What evidence is there that this is some sort of retaliation by China against New Zealand for the Government’s decision concerning Huawei and the 5G rollout?

Well none.  This did not stop Simon from making this particularly weird allegation.

Then there was this tweet:

National’s fascination with a tax that does not exist and is not being proposed is troubling as is tweeting to Julie Anne Genter and all of her followers.

And not to be forgotten there was this tweet where he thought it would be a good look to tweet a photo of him drinking beer in his pajamas:

These are tweets from the past 5 weeks.  Does his social media brains trust think this is helpful?  I presume so …
