A Started when he commented on a Kiwiblog post about the Backbenches show he was to be on that night. Mallard noted that, once again, no Nat was fronting on the show. Torrent of abuse from righties follows. Farrar asks people to be polite to MPs. Whaleoil posts “This is where DPF and I part company, on civility towards MPs, especially Labour MPs, especially Trevor Mallard. He deserves all the flogging that he gets”. Mallard comments in that thread “Pretty rough for me when my mates see David defending me – please don’t do it again David”. Whaleoil, star-struck to have an MP comment on his blog, responds with gentle cooing noises.

Points off for still basically concluding that contributions to the Cullen Fund should be cancelled, despite proving with economic and political argument that they shouldn’t be.

Either you didn’t think your readers were smart enough to do simple subtraction and work that out or your ad writer was too dumb to realise it themselves.
