This is fine

There is absolutely nothing to worry about if the Fast-track Approvals Bill gets passed into law and Shane Jones gets extraordinary powers to decide on consent applications which normally would be subject to enormous rigour and oversight.

I mean he would not be that brazen that he would make sure that one of NZ First’s major donors was sent an invitation to submit an application would he? It would be an especially bad look if he was related to this donor.

And he would not be so stupid as to discuss a prosecution of this very same donor with Waka Kotahi or try to put him on Waka Kotahi’s board.

And how does National feel about all of this? Surely Chris Bishop realises there is a problem? And why is he not insisting that Matua Shane is sacked as Minister?

After all surely Matua Shane is careful to make sure that everything that he says is correct?

Aotearoa New Zealand there is nothing to worry about. Nothing to see here. Just close your sleepy eyes and everything will be fine.
