Had to laugh, albeit with a resigned anger, when I saw this in my emails today
This afternoon, the official Trump campaign website was hacked and defaced. We have examined the site configuration and possible intrusion vectors, and our team has published what we know about this compromise, and lessons learned.

The link above the image gives a reasonable amount of technical analysis about what possibly went on – with some barbs about the CMS / security systems used (not Wordfence).
There is always a potential for this on every site. But it does seem like Trump’s team are somewhat security lax.
