UK Conservative’s social media is remarkably similar to National’s social media

Looks like a pattern is emerging.

Here is a tweet from the UK conservative party complete with naff music soundtrack.

As has been noted by various commentators the film has been heavily edited and spliced unfairly and the last part, where the Labour Spokesperson appears to be floundering, was film taken totally out of context.

And there are recent reports that Topham Guerin is going to play a leading role in the Conservative campaign in the UK.

And here is a recent tweet from the National Party:

Where have I seen this before?  Naff music followed by dubious not to mention inaccurate claims. Crap social media designed to be shared.

But so far it may not be working.

I think it is inevitable we can expect more from National’s 30 odd social media staff. The next year is going to be a tedious one …
