The second Drinking Liberally, Palmerston North is on this Friday. Peter Falloon, NZUSA co-President is the guest speaker. I’m going to try to get up there too and harangue people into getting more active. So, if you like beer, politics, and encouragement get along.

What: Drinking Liberally, Palmerston North
When: 7:30pm, 26th of September
Where: Zoe’s Bar, Kingsgate Hotel, Fitzherbert Ave
Who: guest speaker Paul Falloon, you jokers and jokeresses

[PS. does anyone know what’s going on with DL Wellington? Kedgley told me she was keen and I passed it on, has it been set up?] [Update: Paul, not Peter. And Gordon Campbell is speaking at Drinking Liberally Wellington next week]

  1. yl 1

    Google Dictionary told me that

Harangue means “a loud bombastic declamation expressed with strong emotion”.

I look forward to this happening to me on the night.
