So much for this being a quiet news day.
In the first of two blog related news events Jordan Williams has gone on the front foot and commenced defamation proceedings against Colin Craig as well as former Conservative Party office holders Nathaniel Heslop, Kevin Stitt and Angela Storr. Williams is seeking damages totalling $900,000 for comments made during Craig’s recent media conference and for comments made in Colin Craig’s dirty politics leaflet.
The value of popcorn producing companies’ shares have soared at the news.
And Bomber Bradbury has been spoken to by Police and has apparently been asked to take down or censor this blog post written by John Minto which talks about civil disobedience against Talleys. Obviously the police have never heard about the Streisand effect.
Bomber Bradbury is staying staunch. And you have to wonder about the decision. Use of police resources in this way really makes you wonder about if they will do anything about the complaint concerning the attempted hack of the Standard.
