The private health care system or Oz …

“If you have a workload as a nurse in a shift that is excessive of what you can physically achieve, you might have a 12-hour workload in eight hours.

“What happens is that nurses have to ration care to patients, and that is very difficult for us on a personal and professional note and and that would be the main driver of why I no longer want to work in the public system.”

Australian coup's, why do they always happen to labour politicians? I agree with Jordon here, Rudd, love him or hate him, did purpose an independent Australia foreign policy – and paid the price. Think how our current collection of ratbags was so quick to bend the knee to US interests. Then have a wee think about what they will mean for any labour led government in the future.

It seems Rudd was poor at managing his caucus, and poor at implementation, both of which contributed to his rolling by Gillard.

Apart from the vibe the aussie media spun about Rudd, and the spin of the right faction, you got any proof in what your asserting there tWig?

Because if he was so bad, why did the reinstate him?

Read Gillard's biography. Sure, like any politician she's self-serving. However, she was very careful to describe the train-wreck of legislative load that Rudd created.

            Gillard's autobiography, sorry.

Don't forget Gillard was shredded by Aussie misogynists, abetted by the RW parties, much as the Nats and ACT loved and exploited the gratuitous attacks on Arden'’s character (vs policies). Plus, Gillard says Rudd, who likes a grudge, got a few sly kicks in too.

And Rudd was popular with voters, though shit at nuts and bolts.

Personally did not find Gillard's book that convincing. Very, very self serving – which could be a criticism of the right faction all round. That said, I'd rather the right faction of the ALP any day over the Liberals.

Not sure what Gillard has to crow about, one good speech. No denying that the liberals and national parties are misogynists wankers. But her legislative progress was woeful, and much got rolled back by the same misogynists wankers.

Ooooh! Global financial depression on the cards? Along with the Antarctic melting, all-out war in the ME, and no more yummy olive oil from Lupi? I’m down to my last bottle, from 2022.

Apparently AI tech stocks are overvalued.
