The article is about under estimating the number of First Nation voters, so ballots ran out and people had to wait for the new ones.

What is interesting too, is that the Metis people are recognised as an indigenous people in Canada, but are a ‘mixed race’. There would be nearly 0.5 mill.
It seems that they have distinct cutural affiliations and their own languages , Metis french being one..
From the use of the infinity symbol on officials records they now use that as their flag symbol.
Best thing to do is to change the rules so that most of these people can’t register to vote or that their votes are otherwise invalidated before being counted /sarc
