Seymour holds an idolatrous version of Jesus that approves of David Seymour.

The real Jesus lashed the money changers and then got killed by an oppressive empire.

10 days before Seymour is our Deputy Prime Minister.

Looking forward to him pulling National's polling deeper and faster.

And nothing National can do about it. 😀

At the same time peters will kick off his campaigning for the next election…

      It's gonna get interesting…

. .and hard to ignore the trump effect on our election…

..the incompetencies of those in the clown-cart who rule over us ..

..and the global backlash against trump/trumpism…and the ideas he/they pimp..

…makes me think a one term government here is a distinct possibility…

A new cycleway. The Cycling capital of the Pacific. Awesome !

Meet the Māngere locals on a mission to get more people cycling

Māngere locals promote cycling in the south Auckland suburb – aiming to make the area the cycling capital of the pacific.

Teau Aiturau, or Mr T, runs the hub and has seen cycling grow in Māngere since he first started his charity TTT, or Time to Thrive, in 2014.

"More people are wanting to get on a bike. A lot of kids are riding. Just need to get their parents riding too."

One of the biggest hurdles in getting people biking was their concerns for safety, Aitarau said.

Its a Community thing. Good work Nelly and Crew !

It was not just about getting people from A to B.

Nelly Hakiti is the pest-free activator for Māngere East Family Services, and had made use of the e-bikes at the hub and the keen young people involved there.

"I thought it would be a really good idea to collaborate, use the bikes, load up our resources and head out into the community to deal with invasive pest plants."

    And of course..the anti cycle laners…(quite often anti..everything : (

Some Māngere bridge locals have been complaining about the construction of the new cycleway online, saying the community do not want it and it is a waste of money.

But Mr T was not fazed.

"Keep complaining man, because it's not going to stop. We just gotta keep pushing forward, we're making a change in Māngere – making an impact instead of seeing the same old road."

The new Israeli defence (sic) minister, Israel Katz, has explicitly announced the intention of his government to kill, maim and otherwise "encourage" the Gazan population to hand over the remainder of the "hostages" along with all the Hamas fighters.

Evacuation of the population from combat zones will soon resume. If all Israeli hostages are not released and Hamas is not kicked out of Gaza, Israel will act with force you have not known before.

Take the advice of the U.S. President: return the hostages and kick out Hamas, and new options will open up for you including relocation to other parts of the world for those who choose. The alternative is destruction and total devastation.

It should be noted here that Palestinians have the inalienable right to resist the UN declared, illegal occupation of their land up to and including the use of violence.

They have the right to resist an ICJ declared probable genocide and Yemen is the sole nation doing what it can to prevent the arming and supply of the IDF and US supported genocide.

All remaining "hostages" are in fact members of the IDF and therefore prisoners of war. In contrast, the vast majority of Palestinians detained by Israel have not been charged and can rightfully be regarded as hostages.

There has never been a conflict in which so many children have been killed so quickly.

In the widespread bombing on Tuesday, over 400 people were killed, more than 180 of whom were children. The bombings and military operations continued on Wednesday and into Thursday…

Eighteen thousand dead children since October 7, 2023 tells me this is a war on children, regardless of what the Israeli military says

    According to the Guardian:

The timing of the strikes in the new Israeli offensive, which began on Tuesday, appears to have increased the proportion of women and children among the victims, with many sleeping when the missiles struck.

It becomes increasingly obvious that those in charge in Israel and the US are blood lusting psychopaths.

Worst government approval rating since polling began

    https://www.rnz.co.nz/news/political/545494/ratings-of-government-performance-hit-new-low-ipsos-survey

What I don't get, is how Kiwis can possibly still rate National ahead on Cost of living, Law and order, and the Economy.

Maybe another 18 months of destruction with Deputy PM Seymour at the helm will change their tiny minds.

Over the past 12 months Tesla insiders (executives, board members, etc) have sold 1.46 million Tesla shares, and bought none.

    https://www.nasdaq.com/market-activity/stocks/tsla/insider-activity

Tesla (TSLA) was under pressure again on Tuesday, closing down over 5% as a slew of competitors in China announced updates that again signaled competition on the mainland ramping up for the EV giant.

Tuesday's loss follows a 5% drop for Tesla stock to start the week, and shares are now down over 53% from highs reached back in December.

Grotesque hate piece from ACT accusing teachers of sabotaging boys in the name of DEI/woke militancy

    https://www.act.org.nz/the_oppression_the_left_forgot

This stuff from ACT is what I call "dark truth" or "half truth" intended to deceive. It postulates a few correct facts then weaves a false narrative around those facts. It's intended to sow division and distrust and weaken society.

Men do have problems but it's not because of DEI or woke militants. Our problems are caused by capitalist pigs like Seymour and landlords and callous social policies that discard human lives. Not fkn teachers.

they even hate men. It's not like they're going to push for setting up the things men need like screening programmes or support groups or men's sheds.

Good to see MP Rachel Brooking visiting Wanaka this weekend.

Hopefully Labour can generate an LEC Waitaki branch here soon.
