Judith Collins received a rude wake-up call this morning from Nicola ‘Nicky No Boats’ Willis that the cancelled ferries had been spotted in the distance off the coast of Cape Farewell of Te Waipounamu. However, after a few frantic TikTok messages to the Five Eyes of Sauron HQ in the Oval Room she could rest her head in peace on her pillow again because Elon ‘the Muss’ had sworn that it was not a new wave of immigrants from Mexico on their way to the promised land of Aotearoa. Judith continued her pleasant dream of chasing an ageing bald man on an electric scooter while throwing ice creams at him that were not halal – in her sleep she was grinning with from eyebrow to eyebrow.

Psychologists say that the dream state can reveal insights into our deepest psyche and reveal our most intimate desires and biggest fears, but Nicky’s dreams are basic and barren, almost austere, because she’s unaware that she’s missed her calling as a nun, which may explain her repression of morality and lack of compassion towards fellow Kiwis.

David Seymour has vowed that he’ll remove poor career counselling rules at public schools to ensure that nobody will miss their true calling in future and become their true self, and therefore not waste taxpayer money, which is needed to buy more boats for Judith, Shane, and Winston – David has no preference other than that the submarine be yellow with a pink periscope to reflect his Party’s colours and some unresolved personal issues that shall remain suppressed in name to protect his privacy and not to taint ACT with more tomato soup.

Winston Peters has nodded in bitter agreement because collective cabinet responsibility commands that he not say No and he’s too desperate on getting his ferries from Nicky No Boats before he retires so that Shane ‘the Blue Man’ Jones can don his pinstripe suit and finally grow a pair.

Such is the daily grind of Coalition Ministers, so have a nice, relaxed weekend and only think happy thoughts that don’t involve harming others.

This week I'm mildly happy that ACT and NZFirst have done absolutely everything their bases want, and it hasn't lifted their popularity one iota.

We're going to kick this lot out next year.
