    Moan moan moan,
    The Dingo has a groan,
He's being bullied by his master,
Uncle Sam was on the phone.

Get over the ditch to enzed,
    Set those Kiwis' straight,
    Bully them 'bout five eyes
    And of evil China mate.

    Export some covid to them,
    That will do the trick,
    Blame it all on Wuhan,
    Make the buggers sick.

    Well, fuck you Aussie,
    Suckin ' up to Sam,
    We know your his lackey,
    And your politics of sham.

Being brassed off with your neighbours across the sea. Another ditty about that which I found on an Irish cd. Here are some of the rousing verses.

      [Chorus:]
The sea, oh the sea is the gradh geal mo croide
Long may it stay between England and me
It's a sure guarantee that some hour we'll be free
Oh, thank God we're surrounded by water.

The Scots have their Whisky, the Welsh have their speech
And their poets are paid about ten pence a week
Provided no hard words on England they speak
Oh Lord, what a price for devotion.

The Danes came to Ireland with nothing to do
But dream of the plundered old Irish they slew,
"Yen will in yer Vikings" said Brian Boru
And threw them back into the ocean.

Two foreign old monarchs in battle did join
      Each wanting his head on the back of a coin;
If the Irish had sense they'd drowned both in the Boyne
And partition thrown into the ocean.

    • In Vino 1.2

      I like it, BydOnz,

  2. In Vino 2

I like it, BydOnz, but 2nd last line would look better with you're instead of your.

    Uphill battle, I fear.

Your means 'belonging to you;, not 'you are'.

    Yours in eternal pedantry.

You are correct about my poor use of your for you're. Thanks for the comment.

Very real possibility the New Zealand health order issued today will prevent Scumo from travelling here this week.
