Following a_y_b’s post about the deliciously punny Yes, Pecan! ice cream, we’ve found some more Obama-flavoured silliness which is also, incidentally, the best campaign song ever. Here’s ‘Viva Obama’, by some random mariachi band:

And if that’s not enough Viva Obama goodness you can also download the ringtone and get the MP3 for your iPod at the official Amigos de Obama website. I’m sure you’re as excited as I am.

There is some seriously nifty media stuff going on around the Obama campaign.

Now what would a John Key version of “Yes we can” look like? Ahhh – we already know – “Ambitious for New Zealand”.

I love all this stuff – was just saying to a friend – good lord how I wish our politics in NZ was this much fun.

Too much nastiness here – the nastiest being vitriol spewed about John Key from the Far Right, not the Left.

Ruth – the far Right are always the angriest people on the planet. I’ve been pondering it for a while, and I still can’t work out why that should be. But it certainly does mean that we hear a lot of their loud voices.

    That is just irresistable.

Hey – maybe if Mr Key did more of his policy statments in Spanish we wouldn’t notice the gaps so much do you think?

Would it be unethical to clone him and donate him to one of the political parties here? I’m getting pretty tired of the bickering, too.

The Catholic Church wouldn’t like that very much Ari…
