Greenpeace: We are live at the oil industry conference in Auckland. Through non-violent peaceful civil disobedience, we intend to send the strongest message we can that New Zealand must join the global fight to quit oil and meet the greatest challenge of our time – climate change.

Climate Change is the most challenging issue of our time and it is good that
Greenpeace are prepared to do more than just talk about it, as we need more New
Zealanders making changes in their lives.

For those who thought Russell Norman was a conservative lightweight pulling the Greens to the middle/right, there he is with the group blockade of the entrance to the oil industry conference. Direct action. This is the man who as leader of one of NZ’s main political parties named climate change as the most important issue of all time. Thank-you Russell!

Kia kaha to all the people there today.

  3. Don't worry. Be happy 4

Surely now that the loathesome Trump is also claiming that people who oppose him at his rallies are paid our politicians, and their fan clubs, will be too embarrassed to use this ridiculous explanation. Surely.

Alwyn appears happy enough to be ridiculous so who knows?

Did you bother to look at the comment by someone calling themselves “weka” at 11.57am?
That was the comment wherein said “weka” described them as being a “rent-a-mob”.

The full text, which you can easily check said “Ah, the rent-a-mob again.”
I presume “weka” knows what she is talking about. If she says they are a “rent-a-mob” I assume she knows what she is talking about.

She seems to have forgotten that it was her that brought the subject up. A worrying sign, short term memory loss.

    Bit of a feeble message.

Apart from a handful of students and pensioners, I guess no one’s really that bothered.
