Very nice touch. Shearer is a class act (the Q+A Interview displayed his humility and his genuineness). Mt Albert voters have elected a great MP to represent them.

That is a nice touch. I’m warming to Shearer.

Anyone know if anyone else has ever done this?

Hekia Parata did it after National got in. She, and her campaign team, camped at the bottom of Whitford Brown (by SH1) for several hours.

What a neat way to say thank you. After the effort Shearer has put in, it’s great to see he’s up early and out for the people of his new electorate. I think this will be seen as typical of the guy. Well done.

(Thanks to everybody for making us welcome btw. A fantastic experience.)
