We’ll restore discipline to government spending, stop loading costs on business, eliminate bottlenecks in the economy and we’ll let hardworking Kiwis keep more of what they earn

Translation: we're not going to tackle any of the serious issues we face now or will face into the future. We'll let you carry on doing exactly what you do now with a few extra sweeteners (lower wages for your employees, lower taxes and reduced compliance costs for you, re-inflating the value of your home and rental property portfolio ) because that's what suits worthy people like us.

I have a small business and my biggest costs are rent and utilities – can they stop those being loaded onto me??

Also what the hell are ‘bottlenecks’? The most frustrating thing about National and ACT is the empty rhetoric and finger pointing but never providing actual solutions.
