Here are some snippets from Wednesday’s Parliamentary sitting. I thought others might find some clips of interest.
Kieran McNulty urges the Government to tell Kiwis the truth
Louise Upton fires up after being called “heartless”
Casey Costello gaslights the opposition yet again, daring them to find evidence of links to tobacco, and maintaining she doesn’t know who wrote her tobacco Ministerial papers.
And finally, Winston Peters, Acting PM loses it at Chloe Swarbrick displaying the same behaviour he’s been exhibiting for a while – thin skin and condescension towards Te Pati Maori, the Greens, and Labour.
The current rise of populism challenges the way we think about people’s relationship to the economy. We seem to be entering an era of populism, in which leadership in a democracy is based on preferences of the population which do not seem entirely rational nor serving their longer interests. ...

Well what can you say…Costello seems a typical[deleted] ex copper, Upton a ladder puller like Bennett before her, and Winston just getting nastier with age. Most Māori are now under 40 and getting political, and a lot of non Māori support them, which this rotten CoC lot are going to experience sooner rather than later.
A clue about the future direction is the reaction of Councils being told to can Māori Wards.
Kieran laid it out accurately.
I deleted a word from your comment. Unless you provide evidence please don't make such accusations even in passing.
I could feel Winston's rage at Chlöe's "audacity" – it's the consequences of our CoC govt’s austerity that will be one of his lasting legacies, leaving a ‘bad taste’ in so many mouths.
Mr Mcnulty goes pretty good
100%
IMO The CoC are in the service of evil. They are corrupt and utterly deficient in humanity.
COC – Coalition of Chaos just a bunch of Racist Maaori Bashers IMHO ???
I would like to see McNulty as the Labour leader and the next PM.
