   And while he was away in Hawaii and this interview was all set up he KNEW that the OIA had gone out with Tucker talking to Goff.

   For all the other versions by Tucker and Wakem to be true, would mean Key runs the government like he is the leader of Hamas, never having face to face meetings, no one knows where he is , or he never uses a phone to keep updated. Just in case the IDF comes “knocking ” on his roof. Unbelievable.

     Goff said on Campbell Live tonight, that the evidence points to Slater being briefed on the OIA. It is more likely he’d have been briefed by someone other than the SIS, because the motivation was political.

     If not the PM, Slater was most likely briefed by someone on the PM’s office. But, Goff said that, based on his experiences of working closely with a PM, if someone in the PM’s staff had done something like leak information about an SIS OIA, the PM would come down on them very hard – it’s pretty unheard of for someone in a PM’s staff, to decide on their own to brief someone on security matters, without the PM’s say so.

       Yes, that has been on my mind, and I’m glad it came up in the Goff-Campbell Live interview. With regard to ALL of the released material, and this disclosure in particular, Key has at the very least condoned what has happened. This by itself says a lot. After all, look at how swiftly he dealt with Aaron Gilmore – for being rude to a waiter.

         John Campbell caught up with Mr Key in Christchurch to ask for clarification about who knew what was released, when, why, and how it got to Mr Slater.

         “Well I don’t know because I don’t work on those things, but I think what was released was simply the heading that there was a briefing that took place,” says Mr Key. “But at the end of the day I knew it was there and I knew he was briefed because he told me he would be.”

         Does Key practice such mis-speaking in front of the mirror? Or does it come naturally?

   His bit about hawaii must have been intended to suggest to voters he couldnt therefore have had a discussion with tucker about the sis plans. The q and a shows his holidays dont mean unavailable…

   The lying and misleading goes on and on, and the bags under his eyes get deeper and deeper…

   The odd thing is that nobody nails him on the elementary , fundamental “where the buck stops” doctrine. If he didn’t sign off, or get verbally briefed, on SIS matters, that means he delegated that task to someone in his office he trusted. And EITHER that person messed up and has to take the heat (the coward’s way out : blame a subordinate) OR Key takes responsibility personally.

   Saying “Nothing to do with me” is worse than cowardly, it’s a lie.

   “Prime Minister, is it fair to say that all matters relating to the SIS which are notified to your office at any given time, whether you are present or on holiday, are dealt with by someone you know and trust, and who decides whether you have to be notified personally or not?”
   “Prime Minister, this being the case, do you think that person might have made an error of judgement in not notifying you of this OIA request which had been expedited in order to give information to a right-wing attack blog which had been denied to mainstream media?”
   “Prime Minister, do you expect us to believe that you were’t informed of the matter by your staff because you were on holiday, but that you had time to comment the matter on Q+A on 24 July 2011?”

    This may have been said elsewhere, but, am i correct that Tucker has retired? What the hell is he doing putting out press releases when there’s an official investigation going on, when he’s no longer involved? What capacity is he acting in? Private citizen/national party supporter?

    The obvious inference is he’s a total fucking liar too, just trying to back Key in a tight spot. the written evidence clearly shows key was briefed.
