Preach that message and such "coalition" will be soon be on its route to oblivion. Go ahead, permanent opposition awaits you.Written By: lprent - Date published: 3:03 pm, October 13th, 2014

@lprent: Your treatment is unjust. I am not trolling or wishing to start a flamewar. I made the comment in response to fisiani's. I do believe Grant Robertson has the ability and skills to unite Labour. He can speak to the unions and the grassroot- ...Written By: NeutObserver - Date published: 2:42 pm, October 13th, 2014
I disagree. Grant Robertson is clearly the best option. [lprent: As far as I can see from your comments over the last week, you appear to be just trolling for a flamewar. Added you to auto-moderation. While I look at your behavior more closely. I'd suggest ...Written By: NeutObserver - Date published: 2:28 pm, October 13th, 2014
You know full well that AL cannot and will not do that. Mallard, King, Goff and the rest of the ABC team will stay put for the next two terms or six years.Written By: NeutObserver - Date published: 2:20 pm, October 13th, 2014
His endorsement of Little makes even harder for Robertson to win the contest. It almost derails Parker entirely, since he was DC's deputy. The Party's left (Little) against the right (Robertson). Who will win?Written By: NeutObserver - Date published: 2:14 pm, October 13th, 2014

I do not know if a newly elected leader would trust DC to the extent of giving him an important portfolio. Mr Cunliffe would do better by staying in the backbenches for a year or two, to see how the situation develops.Written By: NeutObserver - Date published: 1:26 pm, October 13th, 2014
That leaves Grant Robertson as the only sensible choice.Written By: NeutObserver - Date published: 12:45 pm, October 13th, 2014
The countdown to DC's withdrawal from the leadership race (and Parliament?) could well be underway. A rumour, but a strong one.Written By: NeutObserver - Date published: 12:13 pm, October 13th, 2014
There is no natural justice when the knives are out in the pursue of power.Written By: NeutObserver - Date published: 11:58 am, October 13th, 2014
Will you take Mr Phil Ure as Deputy Leader? He has also put his name in the hat.Written By: NeutObserver - Date published: 11:54 am, October 13th, 2014
True. Another shocker from Ryan & friends. No doubt MW is openly against DC and doing whatever possible to see him defeated.Written By: NeutObserver - Date published: 10:11 am, October 13th, 2014
The Greens for example appear to live in perfect harmony with flowers and nature, and yet have, potentially, the same issues. How does it work for them so well? The Greens DO NOT tolerate dissent at all. They squash it and force members to follow the ...Written By: NeutObserver - Date published: 9:53 am, October 13th, 2014

@Mr Ure: You want Labour to become the Green Party. Instead, why don't you come clean and declare your Green membership?Written By: NeutObserver - Date published: 9:07 am, October 13th, 2014
Yes, the gulf between DC & DP appears to be widening by the day. Nobody would have thought that up until a few weeks ago they were leader and deputy leader. That's loyalty for the rest of us.Written By: NeutObserver - Date published: 8:55 am, October 13th, 2014
The interesting part is which of the candidates will win more votes in the Labour caucus. Now that Parker has entered the race, the split will increase among MPs, although it seems DC has the least chances and Grant Robertson the upper hand and could win ...Written By: NeutObserver - Date published: 9:13 am, October 10th, 2014

Backfire is not the word. "Roundly defeated" is the more appropriate termWritten By: NeutObserver - Date published: 3:54 pm, October 9th, 2014
I agree. For all those good reasons Grant Robertson will make an excellent leader.Written By: NeutObserver - Date published: 1:37 pm, October 9th, 2014
I do not believe your prediction will come to pass, Mr Redbaiter. On the contrary, I think that Grant Robertson will become the next leader of the Labour Party. The unions may take a bit of convincing, but it will happen.Written By: NeutObserver - Date published: 11:30 am, October 9th, 2014
Most of the union votes should go Andre Little's way, whose move sends David Cunliffe candidacy to the bottom of the sea.Written By: NeutObserver - Date published: 11:12 am, October 9th, 2014
@Mr Ure: don't you see the Green Party fielded a candidate not to help Labour but to compete against it? The Greens sole interest is to become the largest opposition party to national and they could well achieve their objective.
