The final Auckland Drinking Liberally takes place NEXT TUESDAY upstairs at THE KINGSLANDER and features political commentator/national campaigns director for Finsec/all round nice guy Andrew Campbell.
Andrew has a weekly spot as the leftwing commentator on National Radio’s Nine-to-noon show on Mondays. He’s coming to give us his ‘end of year review’ and what to look out for in 2010.
When: 7pm next TUESDAY 15 December (sorry for the late notice)
Where: THE KINGSLANDER, 470 New North Rd, Kingsland (the London bar is being turned into a Thai restaurant…)
Who: You and like-minded lefties. All welcome.
What: Andrew will look into the themes and events of 2009 and discuss the political year ahead. He’ll talk about some of the challenges facing the left and what we need to do to build the progressive movement for change in New Zealand.
A time for questions and answers will follow. Come for a last drink of the year. Please pass this invitation to anyone you think will be interested in attending.
Cheers,
The Drinking Liberally Auckland Team

The server will be getting hardware changes this evening starting at 10pm NZDT.
The site will be off line for some hours.
I like the titles on these posts.
Ain’t freedom grand.
Is that the final for the year or the last ever?
Just for the year
Sorry I can’t make it – Andrew is excellent, knowledgeable but not a know-it-all, firm but not strident, we should clone him!
