As if this year has not been strange enough the United States Pentagon has pretty well acknowledged the existence of Unidentified Flying Objects with the official release of video captured by US Air Force planes.
The videos had been previously released but it is not until this week that they were confirmed to be from official sources. Here they are.

The Pentagon on Monday released three declassified videos that show US navy pilots encountering what appear to be unidentified flying objects.
The grainy videos, which the Pentagon says depict “unexplained aerial phenomena”, were previously leaked, with some believing they show alien UFOs.
The Pentagon said it released the footage to “to clear up any misconceptions by the public on whether or not the footage that has been circulating was real or whether or not there is more to the videos”, a statement on the Department of Defense website said.
“After a thorough review, the department has determined that the authorized release of these unclassified videos does not reveal any sensitive capabilities or systems, and does not impinge on any subsequent investigations of military air space incursions by unidentified aerial phenomena,” the statement said.Advertisement
The videos had been “circulating in the public domain after unauthorized releases in 2007 and 2017”, the statement said, adding that “the aerial phenomena observed in the videos remain characterized as ‘unidentified’”.
And there may be more evidence, much more.

That WaPo piece barely even touches on the high rate of false positives in the antibody tests on the market. The high rate of false positives makes it look like a lot more people have been infected than actually were, which in gives the appearance the coronavirus less deadly than it actually is.

Almost 50 years ago I saw what could be called a UFO and subsequently talking to other locals who admitted seeing similar phenomena over the ensuing years. The curious thing was that most of them appeared to be around or followed earthquake faultlines of which Marlborough, as we discovered during the Kaikoura quake, has a disproportinatly large number.
Two of the most famous sightings have appeared in this area, the Kaikoura UFOs and the Moreland sighting in the early 60s and there are heaps more but most never reported them as they didn't wish to get treated like poor Mrs Moreland..
As during most quakes there are reports of huge electrical discharges that light up the sky got me to wondering if there was any connection and I have always wished that I had enough time and money to do a proper study, but the problem being that when I have the time I don't have the money and when I have the money ….
Earthquake lights are indeed a thing. And yes, they are correlated with UFO sightings. I had a quick google to see if there was Marlborough specific info, but thought better of it when links turned up blaming Marlborough earthquakes on the Large Hadron Collider.

Thanks for that link Andre. 25 years or so ago I read a report on research at UCLA on crushing at huge pressure rock samples mined from the San Andreas fault and they found small ball lightning discharges moving above the surface of the samples tracking the fractures in the samples just before they collapsed. I haven,t been able to find any mention of it since.
Some of the stories here in Marlborough are fascinating and pretty much all on fault lines.
