      Two leaders:

The one they hate … calmly asks a man to stop, then moves away, and then resumes shortly afterwards. Nobody is hurt or arrested.

The one they love … sent out hundreds of police to clear the streets with tear gas, then did a photo-op in front of a church, while protesters could not get anywhere near the leader, never mind ask questions. Many hurt.

Had a look at the counterspin media site (home of Shane Chafin)… Full of egotistical self importance and links to much more of the same. Links to such quality sources as Info Wars and all the maddest right-ring conspiracy sites.

      Total conspiracy nutbar rabbit warren.

I did spend an hour or so last night reading Twitter comments from the nutbars & it's so scary & depressing. Apparently the Italian army are here hiding under a mountain ready to do "Cindy's" bidding? No irony, no jokes, just seriously unhinged hatred & craziness.

Ouch Northland. With the cutoff above the Kaeo bridge, everyone from the north side of the Whangaroa Harbour from Totara North and Otangaroa is going to have to head all the way up to the Mangonui 4 Square for anything.

They're tough as old boots up there and resilient for most stuff.

    Hope this fades soon.
