She says it agreed to fund the tents “in an effort to support its clients choices” and did not rule out supplying more than the 20 it could identify.
It is disgusting that people are applying for hardship grants to buy tents to live in. However, is it preferable for WINZ staff to give the grants in these instances or would you prefer they said no?
I’m certain that the person applying for the grant is not wanting a no.
