    Well, well.

What are the chances that Phil Twyford will be heading upstairs in the Beehive and demanding that the PM packs her bags?

After all, if it is good enough to sack the head of the CAA for carrying out a cover-up it should be good enough for Ms Ardern.

"Nigel Gould, the chair of the embattled Civil Aviation Authority, has resigned at the request of Transport Minister Phil Twyford.

Gould's resignation comes after a Newshub investigation led to multiple current and former employees making complaints about sexual harrassment and bullying.

Newshub reported that those complaints were "covered up" by the CAA."

It certainly sounds like the material coming out of the PM's Office doesn't it?

Paula Bennett has just discovered in the house today that she is in a void with a dead cat.

man she is a void all right – her body language is weird – that cutting gesture – wtf – she's losing it from fear of winnie – loving it

Sadly for Bennett (and we who pay her salary) her raison d'être in the National party is about cheer leading, innuendo and playing politics…..utterly nothing of any substance.

I love te ao Māori! Our ups and our downs, our imperfections, our celebrations and our struggles, our warts and our shine.

Yesterday in typical style, our people laid down the wero, the challenge to our government delegation. We were welcomed on to Turangawaewae to celebrate the Koroneihana events and honour Kiingi Tuheitia and the Kingitanga legacy.

Our people are monitoring Crown actions regarding Oranga Tamariki, Ihumātao, Māori in prisons, water rights and more – all in the context of the Crown honouring tino rangatiratanga affirmed in Te Tiriti.

Thank you to tangata whenua for raising your voices and calling government to account, while at the same time just doing the mahi to protect our people and our planet. I know my job is to be your voice in the halls of power.

The part-time leader of the opposition was making noises at an Infrastructure NZ event on Wednesday, hoping to fleece someone for party donations.

The temporary deputy leader, petulant Paula, was leading the Nats circus in Question Time. Her amateur dramatics were amusing, but overall it was somewhat predictable and disappointing.

When Paula is sacrificed for the greater good of the National Party and is backstabbed to settle some inconvenient legal issues, she could get a small acting role on the TV series "Westside". She wouldn't even need the Wardrobe Department; her leopard-prints would be just perfect.

Anyway, I hope Simon turns up to Question Time on Thursday because his comedy routine is outstanding.

A song especially for Simon. At 6%, Mr popular may as well be a loner.
