Key wouldn’t say why he fired Worth, claiming he feared contaminating a police investigation.
But he will trample all over a police investigation by saying they shouldn’t prosecute Harawira*.
Credibility – fail.
*They shouldn’t. OK for me to say that. I’m not PM.
The current rise of populism challenges the way we think about people’s relationship to the economy. We seem to be entering an era of populism, in which leadership in a democracy is based on preferences of the population which do not seem entirely rational nor serving their longer interests. ...
The server will be getting hardware changes this evening starting at 10pm NZDT.
The site will be off line for some hours.
it did strike me that developing a creepy obsession with a woman and then lying about it was pretty much the same as briefly riding a motorcylce without a helmet as part of a protest.
I can’t see how Key can possibly treat the two differently.
So it’s okay to break the rules for political reasons (Ardern and the tractor) but not to make a complaint that is based on a political agenda? Why did Goff comment also – he should have just kept his mouth shut here. It’s the police’s job – for better or worse – let them decide and get out of the way.
Hmmmmm….. So is Phil Goff’s credibility is also a fail on this one?
Doesn’t look like we will have very many Politicians on the Left or the Right with any credibility based on your standards Zetetic.
Why are you surprised? Key is spineless and very lazy.
He will stay in bed all day long and maybe he does so because he is always missing in action.
Labour leader Phil Goff backed Key’s stance, telling reporters this morning the complaint against Harawira was petty.
why are YOU surprised??
Phil “Remember me…please” Goff is spineless and very lazy. He will stay in bed all day long and maybe he does so because he is always missing in action. yeah whatever
The police have better things to do
Not commenting on an active police investigation is slightly different I would have thought.
Lazy? Oh please, don’t make me laugh.
