Time to get rid of all of these school certifications. Employers can’t make head nor tail of the current ones which is why most places do internal testing of job applicants. Test the teachers on a regular basis instead to make sure they meet some basic requirements for their role.
bry bry, that notion is absurd in two ways 1: teachers have a degree at least, chances are they reach the standards required too teach children, or they wouldn’t be doing it 2: if employers cant make sense of a system which i agree is a bit silly then perhaps they should go back to school as well?
What’s wrong with our teachers? Can you show any evidence that NZ has an issue with bad teachers? (a couple of perverts doesn’t count)
