Its a good idea, but It should be publicly owned. From the looks of it, it is privately owned and you have to pay to cross it.
New Zealand has really crashed when we have to rely on the private sector/user pays/sausage sizzles for awsome ideas like this.
It is the only way we are going to get a correction of the original national party screw-up which cut the original width of the bridge from the planned eight lanes to the then four lanes. Don’t forget it was originally a toll bridge.
