Couldn’t agree more Anne. I am struggling to get my head around the various takes on the Syria situation – I simply grieve for the children and innocent civilians who have been slaughtered or are endeavouring to get to safety, wherever that may be.
That’s my take too Jilly Bee. I find the complexities of the case baffling. It’s almost impossible to know what is going on. But the destruction of masses of innocent people’s lives – especially the children – is devastating. And it seems we are helpless to be able to do anything about it.

Besides, it’s a good opportunity for Labour to have a victory lap- spend next to nothing on the by-election, just send Jacinda out and have her talk to people.
